What the fuck was his problem?

What the fuck was his problem?

What other movies have good depictions of breakdowns?

He was a slav

FULL

He wasn't cut out to become a marine, and the military ended up just breaking him when it was clear they should have just dismissed him.

BIG

Thank you, Wesley.

Falling Down

He was in a world of shit

jelly donuts

PRIVATE PYLE

he is re-born hard in animal mother.

American Education System

he made the cut, to the surprise of everyone, in the end

I didn't loose my gut in basic

He always reminds me of my younger autistic brother who's really into the military.

He was a disgusting fat body

He was in a mediocre film.

ANYONE WHO PREFERS THE FIRST HALF OF THE MOVIE IS A REDDITOR
ANYONE WHO PREFERS THE SECOND HALF OF THE MOVIE IS A WELL DISCIPLINED REDDITOR

I don't understand the praise for this movie. There are so many far better war movies out there.

over your head. give it 10 years. and when you are 23, you will think better of it

He was in a world of shit.

I'm 35 user, not 33

The fat farm got you in shape maggot.

It's called PCP annon.
Semper Fi.

He was either autistic or mildly retarded.

Viet Nam era boot camp was hell kids.

They took his rifle and replaced it. This scene wasn't included because Kubrick knew that none of the other characters would have been aware, so the audience couldn't see that scene, either. The character has a bad relationship with the rest of the maggots, so he can't inform the others that his rifle had been replaced with a new rifle, just like Kubrick can't inform the audience. That's why the character goes crazy, because he's got the wrong rifle.

He looks finnic

BECAUSE HE WAS A DISGUSTING FAT BODY

What the fuck are you talking about

You say there are better war movies, yet you name none.

The American Education didn't start becoming shit until well after desegregation though.

aMERICAN PSYCHO

A movie literally called breakdown

How did he remain fat?
Even just a month of PT and army food would've made him a little more in-shape.

Anyone else think the last scene with the girl is outdated as fuck?

Tarantino would have shot the bitch two seconds in instead of this overdramatic bullshit

Some people are just born fucked, you know. It's not a big deal. He's just your garden variety cyclepath.

Top Kek @ ARMY
ffs

Blue Ruin

Taxi Driver

He doesn't exactly start out normal, but there's clearly a decline in his mental health as the movie goes on.

10/10

No. Tarantino would have blown his load with a bunch of comic book style violence.

>can't spell a 4 letter word
They give these people guns.
LOOSE is your asshole, LOOSE like a wizards sleave, LOSE is your life.

He didn't drop out before it was too late.

And no, he wasn't drafted. You don't get drafted into the marines, only the army.

Haha, fucking EPIC

Fuck I read it in his voice too.

And Tarantino is known for this impressive realism, right?

Worst case Ontario the guy gets discharged and ends up working the graveyard shift at a Safeway

>Anyone else think the last scene with the girl is outdated as fuck?

I saw it back then, and "kill me...kill me" was an old cliche already by that point. So much so I wondered if he wasn't including some real scene from the actual war.

lmao if you consider this a good war movie you should try watching come and see or the thin red line or even apocalypse now

I think part of the message was he couldn't make it as a Marine until he got completely broken. After that he did well enough to make it but he couldn't handle it.
