What's the best song on the best album from an ex-Beatle?

My vote goes to Isn't It a Pity.

Pic unrelated.

My mom says that when she was in high school they referred to this album as "band on the runs"

Band on the Run is the only one I can hum from memory so it must be that one.

Silly Love Songs you fools!

...

Maybe I'm Amazed is godtier

Jet. Though Calico Skies is fantastic, too.

>Grime

I haven't listened to their solo projects enough to give a valuable opinion, but from what songs I have listened to it'd have to be Got My Mind Set On You.

Band on the run, but only really that second movement. Once that synth kicks in, oooooo boi

Imagine, from what I've listened to

Either Isn't it a Pity or Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five

John - Watching The Wheels
Paul - Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey
George - Behind The Locked Door
Ringo - It Don't Come Easy

There's so much good material on most of their early albums.

It's insane how good a Late 1970 Beatles album could have been for example:

Side 1
1. Instant Karma!
2. Every Night
3. What Is Life
4. Remember
5. Maybe I'm Amazed
6. Love
7. Another Day

Side 2
1. It Don't Come Easy
2. Cold Turkey
3. Junk
4. All Things Must Pass
5. The Back Seat Of My Car
6. Isn't It a Pity (Version 2)

>Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five
that one is an absolute banger.

Now take that and cross it with Cortez the killer

I think that they shouldn't have completely split up but rather done something like a break where they went to do their own work. George clearly wanted more control of his own work, John was doing his stuff with Yoko, Paul wanted even more control and Ringo was actually starting to compose for once. So you'd maybe get a bunch of their solo albums, then in the late 70's they'd probably join together and work off from there.
