What's the most underrated song on the album and why is it Sunday's Slave?
Not even the best song on the album.
It literally would be the greatest post-punk song ever put to record if not for that god fucking awful production
All that intricacy, all that emotion and intensity and it gets wasted on a muddy mix and poor sound quality
I don't really get why everyone says it's his best song
It's great but he has many other ones like The Weeping song, Papa Won't Leave You, Henry, Jubilee Street, As I Sat Sadly By Her Side, Do You Love Me (both parts), O'Malley's Bar and Tupelo
I am of the belief that Nick Cave didn't get good until The Good Son.
It’s probably because it best captures the apocalyptic nature that Cave embodies in that song.
Wanted Man is a close second to his best song.
I never heard about problems with the mix.
>16 albums
>not a single bad one
even Nocturama has Babe I'm On Fire
a girl told me i look like nick cave and should get his haircut is this good or bad
Depends how old you are
Post pic :)
This is the greatest song ever made.
exactly, young Nick Cave looked gorgeous but he aged like milk
To be honest i don't see any likeness
Nah he still looks pretty good for 60

I don't know about that, Your Funeral... My Trial and Tender Prey are both solid albums. Still, I'd concede that the overall quality of his material improved exponentially with The Good Son. I believe that he peaked with Henry's Dream.
i believe that he peaked with push the sky away and the skeleton tree also, but in a very different way. and to specify, the live material of these two albums.
This would be a good album cover
As someone who saw him live recently I can confirm
To me you look a bit like Bowie
That song is shit. It's literally repeating the same part over and over for four minutes.
>not King Ink
