SHE DID IT LADS

Was expecting at least a 9 tbqhwyl

wtf i love iceland alien women now

The lyrics are so shit though h

...

lol is right

Remember when Pitchfork gave Homogenic a 9.9

Literally the most petty thing I can think of

It was made by a woman and an uber gay, what did you expect

But p4k shills for everything Arca does, so it's not that surprising

wrong, it has a 10 now pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/22835-homogenic/

given that, a 10

thats a pretty lawl rating. Close but not quite there. Some may consider this a bigger fail than an outright bad album.

This album has literally ZERO timbric variety and dynamic contrast. It's sleeping music. Most of the time you have a hard time telling when one song has ended and another one has started. I found myself thinking "boy this song's pretty long" only to realise I was halfway through the next song. There's nothing memorable, nothing that sticks out, nothing to make you want to go back to it, or at least to a specific song. Vulnicura often had the same defects, but even then it wasn't as plain and homogenous as this one. Even Biophillia, which was her first "samey" album managed to bring enough interesting sounds and tempos to allow the songs to differ from one another.

Björk for the love of whatever the fuck you currently believe in, make this your final album. Don't let us see you turn into a grotesque caricature of yourself (though some might argue this has already happened; see: cover art)

>h
?

arca has ruined bjork

fuck him and fuick this shitty album

Same

MUH VAGINA

MUH FEMINIMS

FUCK MEN

FUCK BJORK SHES DEAD TO ME NOW

Nice copypasta.

Trading accessibility for technicality

Thanks. I like it because it's true.

>it's true.
Nice bad opinion.

Deserved a 9

8.4 is actually very slow. it deserved a 8.5

Nice argument

Should've been higher
Pitchfork fuck it up again

there's a lot of sex tension in here

Why Pitchfork keeps labeling Björks' albums as R&B/POP and electronic?

the filed this classic willie album under rock.
they're mutton heads.

OBJECTIVE RANKINGS
>10/10
Homogenic, vespertine
>9/10
Debut, post, biophilia, utopia
>8/10
Medulla, vulnicura
>7/10
Volta

HOLD FARTS FOR LOVE
FOR EVER

>8.4
Should've been higher but I'll take that

Much like that one ANOHNI record the lyrics on this album ruin it for me.

dude kys

Thank you God and his son Jesus for bringing us the lovely music

Shan't

Great album but overly long. Could've cut out 20 minutes and not lost anything hugely important

I literally feel like I'm 5 minutes away from kms

good

...

This review makes it sound like a 10 not and 8.4

BETTER THAN VESPERTINE CONFIRMED

First Björk album I completely dislike. Vulnicura is miles better.

cool
well, I guess that in 10 years Utopia will be a 10...

I like Utopia, but only 7.2 for Vepertine??? this is just sad

...

Wtf I hate Vespertine now

I a new here, what's with Pitchfork and 8.4 scores all the time?

>Accompanying this airy, grandiose mood are, thankfully, a few moments of levity. At one point she offers that she is “Googling ‘love’”—a dizzying and delightful image—and she gets legit pissed off at how beautiful nature is: “This fucking mist/These cliffs are just showing off.”
Wad this written by a 14 year old? legit pissed? fuck off

>Wad this written by a 14 year old?
The lyrics or the review? Also, yes.

Sometimes I think that were ITAOTS released today, Pitchfork wouldn't give it a 10.

I think it's difficult to tell if an album is really a 10/10 in till at least a while after it's been released
Also they didn't give itaots a 10 when it was first released. They gave it an 8 point something

Ah, I didn't know that. My mistake.

It seems pretty meandering and tuneless, like the last one. Worst music trend ever.

They didn’t even give it a 10 when it actually was released
They only did the 10 to join the bandwagon

Not gonna lie, former Bjork listener here. It's been fucking hilarious watching Bjork crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this broad release another album.

I was listening to this while going to work this morning and it started almost gave me an anxiety attack

it's claustrophobic as fuck. I had to stop
