This is the final draw for Sudamericana, all the key is already settled. The home/away order is gonna be decided by the draw itself until the final. How?
- All the keys from Ro32 are numbered from 1 to 16
- The winner of each key "earn" their key number.
- The key number is gonna be used as the position is used in Libertadores from Ro16 until the final.
So it's all up to luck. If they don't draw the key neither then it's up to which teams gets first.

the wut

what match?

this is how the Ro16 would've been with the old system

> Atl. Mineiro vs Nacional
> Lanus vs Wilstermann
> Gremio vs Strongest
> River vs Atl. Paranaense
> Palmeiras vs Barcelona
> Santos vs Emelec
> Botafogo vs Guarani
> San Lorenzo vs Godoy Cruz

There's no way there won't be a BRA vs ECU leg, calling it right now.

Keeping this thread on life support

more unnecessary facts

Final is gonna be hosted in Estádio Independência so far (in other words, until Atl. Mineiro gets eliminated).
Under no circumstances the final is going to be played at Gran Parque Central. Which is bad. No, really.

No way.
CONMEBOL had vetoed the Independência for the 2013 finals because it was too small, so Atlético-MG had to play in the Mineirão.

>CONMEBOL had vetoed the Independência for the 2013 finals because it was too small
wasn't it part of the WC?

Is Ceni still managing São Paulo?

Now you say it, I think Lanus' stadium is too small too.

Belo Horizonte stadium for 2014 WC was Mineirão. Independência (owned by América-MG) is other stadium in BH.

Mineirao is owned by the gov them? Which is Atl. Mineiro actual stadium?

Atlético and Cruzeiro haven't own stadiums. They have as "home" Mineirão, public stadium owned by Minas Gerais government, but currently operated by a private concession

They own none.
Independência is owned by America-MG.
Mineirão is owned by the government, i think, and cruzeiro is who usually plays there.
But they do have a shopping center.

None. They rent both the Mineirão (state-owned) for big profile matches and the Independência for the smaller ones. It's a common practice in most cities, actually.

As much as it hurts me to admit, he is, and will remain so for quite some time now.

I'm not sure but IIRC they played the Sudamericana finals in La Fortaleza without any problems.

bump

Some news from here. Barcelona's Monumental and Emelec's Capwell are close to becoming the first Ecuadorian stadiums with seats in every stand except for the general (cheap) ones.

> the water is green
Classic conmebol
What about Quito's teams? What's the geographical order of football development over there?

How's the Argentinão doing so far?

Boca has a 4 points lead with 3 games left against relegation fodder.

Thanks for the input

Bump from Lanus City

LDU named their stadium after Rodrigo Paz, club manager (not President) during their best years (2007-2010). Also they're building elevators or something there.
And the rest, well, Aucas has their awful stadium but at least it's theirs, while the rest of the teams is too poor to build shit at all.

> *gunshots*
> *woman screams in the background*

Final has to has stadiums with a capacity of at least 40.000.
Lanus ground had a maximum capacity of ~47.000, but I can't tell if that fulfills Conmebol security requirements. The minimum is barely over 40.000. While some sources says Sudamericana 2013 final had an attendance over 40.000, unofficially people claim they got around 50.000.

tl dr: while is not clear, Lanus capacity should be just above the limit.

btw, we have colombian league's final first leg today. Starts at the same time than the draw.

Only exception for Conmebol's rule is Defensores del Chaco

omg I just get it. Barrios saved San Lorenzo
