As a fan of the original manga/anime, I think it'll be good for GitS to get some mainstream recognition. Beat Takeshi as Aramaki is awesome and gives me some hope, and I actually think the jew is well cast. Batou looks like shit though, and more than anything else I hate that they tacked on a fucking shitty/typical Hollywood "they're using you" plot, but I hope the trailer was misleading.
