Full pop album. Catchy but not sugary. Looking for advice on getting stuff sent to review sites. Don’t Pretend I Didn’t Get You Into Beach Boys by Gwhit Dance pop, smart arse lyrics and catchy choruses: Songs (each with lyrics): soundcloud.com/gfuckingwhit/sets/dontpretendididntgetyouintobeachboys
Some amazing stuff. All over the place (in a good way), and yet very consistent. Love the glitchiness and how you manage to blend electronic stuff with acoustic guitar so well (something that's often quite poorly done).
Yeah I agree its missing something its just the nature of the beast without a rapper when you make instrumental hip-hop. DJ Shadow could pull it off and Ive seen alot of vaportrap and lofi hip hop producers pull it off by keeping the tracks alot shorter or using vocal samples. But I feel if I went that route if a rapper wanted to use my instrumentals then it just wouldnt work. I am just gonna wait it out to see if anyone does take to MCing over my stuff.
I thought of rapping myself but its honestly a new level Id have to bring myself up to.
This feels really nostalgic for some reason. Like your melodies but I feel like the basic reverby drone is clipping a bit and making it more grating than it should be.
yo this is so clean. Production is nice af and vibes are chill. Plus ive tried to flip Daphnis and Chloe multiple times unsuccessfully so props for that hahahaha. Mine is the aussie rap one with the very green image a few posts up. GJ
damn this goes hard! Production is super crisp. I think it could be improved if you screwed around with the bass a bit more ots a tad bland. big ups tho
Gabriel Reed
I like the keys, and the percussion is nice too. The bass, however, reminds me of a generator or other mechanical apparatus. idk what you're using for that but it needs to change. pretty nice tho

lol fuck these threads Ive been writing feedback for the last 30 mins and havent gotten shit in return
Nice, I too fuck with some syphmonic metal stuff. Got commissioned to compose some tracks for a brutal RPG and ended up with some okay tracks from it I guess. Too bad the game was never finished
> 23 track, 86 minute behemoth, encompassing HEALTH like noise, psychedelic folk, krautrock, Boards of Canada beats, old school east coast Hip-Hop, samples from Keith Jarrett, Prince and Fugazi, one direct John carpenter homage/ripoff and guitars twisted and distorted beyond recognition
We got a small review by Fantano on Twitter for this one and gained a small following plus released stuff on some indie labels. Grab while it's cold (since it was hot two years ago).
In total about €840. Not sure if too much or not, but he loved working on it and I think he supplied exactly what I wanted
Ryan Russell
fuuuuck dude, can't believe you had that much money to put towards music. I'm jelly af
Cooper Mitchell
Good, really good artwork, shit.
Anyway, the songs are cool in my opinion, props for softened
Jackson Howard
Awww man I was seriously digging that intro until the rap started. Why fall into that soundcloud rapper “I’m on molly” meme :/ it was better without. Otherwise nice production and general feel. Rap ruined it
Isaac Cooper
Yeah I quit basically all drugs and going out and worked like a pig for months for that
