Lithuanian pro basketball team president blames team's struggles on black players

cbssports.com/nba/news/lithuanian-pro-basketball-team-president-blames-teams-struggles-on-black-players/

I couldn't find any articles detailing any misconduct of the BC Lietuvos Rytas team's "black" players.

Thoughts?

He's absolutely correct. One of two black people in a group can be managed but once you have more than that the coonery and buffoonery starts

This is why having Sup Forums as a introductory point for Sup Forums is a bad thing.

>Dissing KANGZ

Was Sup Forums any better tho?

100% yes.

Based. Just the kind of coaches Europe needs more of

He's right though, and I've been here since before Sup Forums even existed

How is that even a question? Traps, random shit and weed is better than, explicit antisemitism and a "NIGGER HATE THREAD"

debateable, but at least Sup Forums """"ideals""""" were universally refused outside of the site
Sup Forumsfags actually get validation IRL, that's pretty fucked up

>implying Sup Forums doesn't have nigger hate threads

reddit stench in this thread is unbearable

well people can talk about other things like sports, tech or games on sites with more informative communities
Sup Forums however is a site that allows talking about certain things other sites don't allow

>Thoughts?

hardly surprising for anyone who knows Lithuania a bit, even when the knowledge is limited to sport

pic is Lavrinovic (one of the NT's players) having fun in airports drawing swastikas on bags

said Lavrinovic who served time in jail for rape, but got out the Saudi way: by marrying the raped girl

if you want some Lithuanian fun, try to follow the Eurobasket threads next september

>team president

aka someone who knows nothing about basketball. who cares

>Only 2 black players is optimal in a sport where 90% of the good players are black

i don't know how the lithuanian team plays maybe the black players don't mesh well in the system, who knows.

Go back to r*ddit

I think american basketball players who play abroad move teams a lot (while always looking for summer league/even d-league spots), so if you get one guy in who's a bad influence maybe they'll all fuck around, they'll get new contracts somewhere else anyway

>Sup Forums telling people to go back to r*ddit

no surprise seeing your faggot ass here

>I couldn't find any articles detailing any misconduct of the BC Lietuvos Rytas team's "black" players.
>implying the spanish and murrican media would bother translating those
>implying the fucks who hate as and made sure to disseminate this speech would care to translate those articles as well
played like shit after dropping out of yuropean comps, spent a night in a casino after losing home court advantage in the local semis (not for the first time)

Why aren't there more Slavs in black dominated sports?

Think of boxing, for example. They're either black or a Slav like the Klitschko brothers. The finalists on World's Strongest Man are usually Slavs too.

This fucking asshole is why a lot of people considers eastern europe (incl. Lithuania) a shithole.

>was a main editor of communist youth newspaper
>now owns fake news network
>constantly gives bribes to politicians yet gets away with it
>used to have, his son (who is a fucking junkie) to run the basketball team
>when the son and he got in the scuffle, he fired him even tho the results were good
>put some yesman to manager position, so he could control the team to him
>changes like 3 coaches per year
>never been a real contender in Lithuania ever since, for like 7 years now
>constantly makes stupid statements like this one that hurts this team credibility

Tho, our main team Zalgiris had even crazier owner... Reply if interested in his story

Why would white people play basketball?

>forgetting about all the glorious Latino boxers

I have been to Lithuania twice and visited a few places, your country is pretty neat and the countryside is great but I hear the political situation is not so hot.

Tell me the story pls

So first and foremost it is important to know that the biggest sports rivalry in Lithuania is between BC Zalgiris and BC Vilniaus Lietuvos Rytas

>BC Zalgiris is this legendary team back from 1944
>near bankrupcy in 2009
>this crazy russian banker Vladimir Romanov "saves" the team same year
>The guy who ruined Edinburgh Hearts football team with retarded decisions
>First things he done in Zalgiris is selling two of three best players in Kaunas team, because he wanted to stop most influential players in locker room
>coach Krapikas resigned after few months due to poor results
>his replacement R. Butautas fired after few months of his work, even tho results were pretty decent
>His replacement Maskoliunas was doing even better
>almost got us in Euroleague top 8
>manages to get to Lithuanian league finals
>fired during Lithuania league finals due to being (in owner's own words) “Vilnius mayor's warrior"
>btw this coach is now an assistant coach in Zalgiris and doing a pretty good job in it
>team is coached at that point by the few veteran players
>Zalgiris lost the finals, Rytas gets to Euroleague main stage because of it
>everyone accuses him of fixing the finals
>after the season he releases a fucking propaganda three part movie on his own TV in which he says how refs are slaves and everybody screwed Zalgiris at the finals
>next few seasons, it's pretty much the same story
>Romanov fires coaches who are disagreeing with him
>controls the minutes of how much particular player can play
>puts emphasison himself instead on the team, so we can always hear his stupid speeches
>finally the last season assembles great team
>his bank goes bankrupt
>Romanov accused of money fraud
>Buratino or pinochio (as everyone eas calling him in Lithuania) leaves the country
>current year the team is in best shape in four years since Romanov is gone
>the state of team owners in Lithuania

Sorry for slow typing, i'm phone fag.

>In 2007 Romanov won a Lithuanian version of Dancing with the Stars, which is the equivalent of the British show Strictly Come Dancing.
rigged?

Sup Forums really is that cancerous

>racists who like basketball and football

Always blows my mind

>he didn't enjoy a good game of whites vs blacks at school

Probably yes. He always liked to shoecase himself as some sort of alpha. Tho he was pretty rotten and wooden during the contest and one of the judges A. Valinskas (who is also a whole different story) named him Buratino (pinocchio) because of it.

15 vs 1 is hardly fair, m8

Kept him from forming a gang though.

>several black players in your team start partying at night in the middle of playoffs
>call them out
>oy vey racist

It's racist to say that you shouldn't have more than 2 black players on your team, yes.

It wouldn't be racist calling out *those* black players on your team, but generalizing every black player by saying that if you have too many of them on one team they get into a gang is racist.

but it's true

Brown was fucking beast in his day, never forget the first time i saw him live in 2007 where he knocked like 33 points at Euroleague game in old Kaunas Sport Hall, with all those crazy Curry-like shots. Back in the day he was the Steph Curry.

Alright, so you're a racist then. Fair enough.

implying

Interesting. I kept meaning to actually see a game whilst I was over there as I wanted to see how hype you guys get.

Would make for a good TV series desu
