Some fuckin crazy music came out of Japan in the 80s. This guy is no joke.
arca is just autechre if autechre relied on presets had no ear for composition and also gay

This, but I don't think it is a bad thing. Also arca is a lot more human sounding.

...
lots of memories from this album, but it hasn't aged well?
this album hasn't aged well at all
...
Future sounds of london's first album. But it has aged.
It's great to put you back into the early 90's, with obviously papua as a the top track.
I think it's aged well compared to techno and other electronic music of that era.
Same with Dig Your Own Hole.
I GOTTA CRY
Anything similar to Ben Frost's Steel Wound?
bingo
...
it's the best electronic album from 90' besides Aphex's works

how so? untrue was an album that relied on that year's electronic music landscape, compositionally it sounded a lot like it's contemporaries, but it had a different texture to it. I said it hasn't aged well, it's still an alright album but it definitely sounds like it fits right in with the plethora of uk garage and minimal dub coming out around the time it was released.
confield doesn't have that issue, it still sounds great and you'd be hard pressed to find artists outside of maybe the deep idm underground who are making music like this, even today.
Holy fuck more like this please. preferably with more people rolling and dancing
God damn this picture makes me throw up almost physically.
Every LG album is alright as the man just knows what he's doing. His NTS sessions are always great as well.
soundcloud.com
It's kind of unfair to call Untrue dated when one of the main themes in its production is reminiscing and reflecting on the sounds of electronic music popular in the UK throughout the '90s. It's only incidental that this album popped up around the same time earlier Dubstep acts were building upon the existing soundscape by harking back to the earlier 2-step sound with an added layer of Dub.
...
This one's from 2013 but it still huge I guess, not much of this type of vibes around so far.
Never seen this posted/mentioned on /mu - it's a crime.
...
Keep discovering new details with each subsequent listen.
My best friend gave me this to me on Vinyl for my birthday about 3 years ago. Neither of us knew what the fuck this album was.
Love it now. Great find.
I agree. The cover on Mutant put me off for a long time, it was just too fucking grotesque in some way, always had that image in my head when i tried to listen to it.
Then i decided to remove the cover and just listen to it.
I absolutely love it now.
>Hesaitix
it's boring shit, his previous LP was better
nice
Ear was great too
>are literally nauseatingly disgusting
that's the point sweetie, it fits the music perfectly
Thank you, I didn't remember this fucking gem.
We said gems, not PIECE OF CRAP.
>Troyboi

>"I just wanna dance amongst the stars"
So fucking embarrassing.

No one's posted any gem that's more of a gem than this gem. If you don't get this gem, listen to Surgeon's gems first to understand the gems of Abstract Techno, because his gemness is more explicit for a noob than the gemness of this gem.
Also, kick out the gems motherfucka!
