derivative garbage, terrible melody and production. more of this blink-182 trap revivalist shit that's being flogged now that peep is dead. that fucking guitar riff is so bad. also, saying that it is the best track on the board is an immediate red flag. fuck you and your trips loser

Hey it's Adam from above ^ I said rex and love in a sec and here it is
Man from the Eezy Sleez Music Soundcloud. i don't know if this is your music but i will treat it as if it is yours. Cool tunes lets chat on soundcloud! Pony Driver: Hey this reminds of some pharaoh sanders and sun ra stuff. Very abstract and square sounding music. It's like robots from the 50s that have never heard earth's music trying to jam. Conversations with cheese: Hey i'd be really interested in how you made this back in the 80s reminds me of the avalanches only more experimental. it just keeps me guessing in the best kind of way. the bass that comes in is orgasmic. Nice big house! 2 bedroom apartment!
Sweet Talker! Holy jeez man i love your music. Let's talk production on soundcloud! I love your music dearly and my jibber jabber would only be good words of encouragement. Love the ones i loved! Brandon Heil! I think you could go a lot of different ways with vocals, but I am a fan of the overall feeling of the track. Sounds like a sunny day. Holy crap I love the break more than anything! I don't mean this in a bad way but the song seems a little rushed depending on how the vocals are performed it could be bad or good. Mr. Reptilebrain! Lets talk production on soundcloud! Rose tinted: the reverb on the vocals are masterful the overall mix is pretty stable. Very mysterious song, left me feeling like a had been transported to a foreign planet. The synth sparkles and jingles! In my opinion some of those synth hits came in a little hot but to each there own! I want to be the universe: wasn't expecting such a dramatic change in emotion. leaves me feeling very hollow. the swirling synths in the back are mixed perfectly. The vocals have some cool effects on them, it sounds lie a little tasteful autotune, fits the song well man. Lyrics are just right! Just noticed the reversed piano reverb nice touch.
not sure when a full length will come about, we'll probably do another 3/4 track first. thanks heaps for you interest though, send me an email at [email protected] and let's talk

Dope as fuck, any tips about recording ambient sounds? Do you do field work to get sounds or is it created in other ways? Also I know you're playing Dark Souls
I posted I'm hoping to add ambient sounds to create a more spacial feeling recording
>trap beats >Just fucking around with my rapper friend
Colton Butler
haha this is David Berka, dark souls player reporting in (I love that you picked that up btw). Your music is has a very post-punk vibe, and its quite a good track, it just needs to be recorded better. Recording everything individually and then mixing them would be a start. As for recording ambient sounds that's a bit more tricky, as I would like to hear more of what you had in mind, For me I create my sounds froma variety of sources, but mainly from editing and mixing synths and field recordings.

grizzly steelo go i dont know how to reference a post on here

I always check back if you leave a like or comment, have a nice day!

there's as many minutes worth of music in this thread alone as there was in the entire decade of the 1950's. Try to find a job that doesn't involve preparing or watching presentations of some kind.
> music for those failing to heat up their homes, winter-core, cracked knuckles and chapped lips-gaze > minimal, downtempo, glitch, hardcore beats, inspired by industrial, ambient, trap, lo-fi breakcore, etc >FFO: Ben Frost, Haxan Cloak, Clipping, Brian Eno, Biosphere, etc
Mate these soundscapes are nuts dude! You need to get hooked up with a game or movie! Fucking sick idea dude. Those songs remind me of neverhood back in the day! When is the album out? You seem to have your sound locked Kreig. Sounds like a more chilled stlaagh Wartrauma is fuck dope
hey guys it's me, the guy who originally started this thread format. apparently this is still going so that's pretty cool
also here's my music soundcloud.com/basementvacation/sets/pete basementvacation.bandcamp.com >slow and sad >acoustic guitar >singer-songwriter >piano instrumentals
>wartrauma that's hardcore as fuck, i like it really well done not my style but prod quality sounds good not sure if you were going for the lo-fi/static recording quality on purpose or your mic just sucks, but either way the song itself is pretty dope not sure how to feel but i like it i actually really like this, my only complaint is that your(?) voice strains a lot on the higher notes still dope sax is dope but the beats ruin it desu
everyone who doesn't post feedback or recs in these threads can fuck right off, i made this to avoid spamming faggots like you:

Don't take this the wrong way, but have you considered pitching your music to YouTube content creators?
Free promotion (They'll pay you in most instances), I'm sure people would want this kinda stuff for their videos, particularly the first track.
Just an idea. Anyway, this is my track but it's very far off from what you're making so you might hate it, lmao
I'm at work and haven't had the possibility to listen to the other tracks yet, so get off your high horse you condescending cunt
Lincoln Hughes
You must be new here.
Jaxson Roberts
This is me... getting around to listening to some more tracks now. Sorry if I can't do too many. Having a crazy day.
Dude this is dope as hell. I spent about 45 minutes just listening to this at work. I don'thave much knowledge on this genre, but you've created some awesome sondscapes and textures here. Good Job.
Wow dude. Got a really diverse array of tracks here. Some really in your face shit and some really great chilled tunes as well. NECRO was probably my favourite because I'm a fan of dark sounding tunes. Will definitely be hitting you up for some collab vibes in future.
Must admit that I haven't taken enough time to appreciate some of the older music but listening to some of the tracks on your soundcloud might kickstart my journey through that era. Love what you're doing here. Keep it up!
Sorry dude I couldnt find anything with that link. Got anything else I can check out?
This feels like a kind of dark surf rock vibe haha. Not sure what to call it but it pleased my ears. Some really interesting choices. The second chord of the part that comes in at 1 min made me feel things. If I could give any constructive crit, I'd say the drummer could maybe change up some of his fills, but honestly I'm being really nitpicky. Loved it.
>brand new face on the block >I will rap over anything >About anything
If you've got an instrumental you're proud of and wouldn't mind something weird on it hit me up here and I'll reply with a 30 second something or other.
Be well, friends bless.

Analyze my shit please. I need feedback for my next track

Yeah that recording was live and recorded with a phone which is why it sounds like crap, i wanted to just get feed back on the song itself to see what people think. Also i like that you named a song after DS i named one of my first songs i wrote Solaire
As for ambient sounds i wanted to go get recordings of waves at the beach then run them through a phaser or something, i want an airy noise that weaves in and our during a few specific parts of the song what do you think? Also if you have a contact that would be cool too if you want to discuss this more
Nolan Powell
Well I don't like trap but you're obviously doing something right you got ignored here but you got massive plays on SC, production is solid, and the song structure is perfect for this style of music keep it up dude!
My post is here in case anyone wants to leave comments about the song itself, there was some confusion this is a live take recorded on a phone i'm just looking for comments about our song writing!
If i skip over you sorry i'm trying to leave constructive crits for anyone that got the least amount of replies
Varg references nice, you'll be labeled a nazi if you ever get any shred of popularity though kek. Production is solid but the rappers voice just doesn't have that aggressive vocal quality. Not a huge deal, i know SC rappers get away with a lot more, song itself is good
You deserve a lot more plays man, this stuff is cool, I always love hearing the record player fuzziness in a song too, super chill tracks that would be good to study too or something BUT make the songs longer and have more variety, the first one ended abruptly but theres so much to build on i doubt people would mind hearing the song branch out into some new avenues
for lofi that bass and drum track are pretty crystal clear, cool production though, reminds me of Adult Swim interludes good work
Needs more low end, something that would really get the head banging, i think theres a lot of potential but it failed to grab my interest, take that with a grain of salt but i felt like there was no underlying structure to the song that kept me hooked so i could concentrate on the weirder sounds, which is the best part about the song, lots of texture
This is perfect vaporwave, good job. Nice samplings and the production is better than average! The second song is definitely my jam though, much more funky
Flow was lacking, and your voice isn't expressive enough, I don't know how rappers practice to get better but keep on at it, the beat itself and production was good but i wouldn't rec for the first reasons
Gavin Hill
>www.soundcloud.com/daniel-smith-uk/every-day OMGOMG HES BACK!! Sorry to treat you like a rockstar but I honestly love your tunes man, huge fan here. This one takes it even farther. love

This is very cool, the glitched guitar does get a little old though, and i feel like ambient tracks should not be this short though, i hear tons of potential though so keep experimenting with song writing/composition but the song doesn't have enough time to build and progress into something more interesting
Great production and ambient sounds, drums are tight overall really great work, I like PtM too. Keep promoting your stuff you'll get more plays for sure
Wish the songs were longer and built more, but thats personal preference everything sounded solid and kinda creepy.
Good production good melody but its too repetitive build on it
The Death grips influence in the background is very prevalent, sounds very The Powers That b-ish, flow is okay and doesn't really bring anything extra to the song
Merry Christmas, this had my head bobbing but all the reverb coming from the vocal was annoying me though, it distracted me from the beat. overall i still dig it.
Production is solid, voice quality was good and flow was solid. and this song actually had a hook don't really hear that a lot in SC rap songs, good shit
Singer can't sing, sorry. I get this fragmented slow feel but it feels like it actaully needs to be tighter in how fragmented it is, cause it comes off sloppy rather than intentional, theres also no bass or low end def. some potential though in the song writing, the guitars are the best thing about the song, Drumming and singing were pretty bad
Interesting stuff, definitely felt like i was in a fantasy game when the acoustic came in, but please change the cringey artwork on the page, and all the songs sound too similar
Production was lacking, drums could definitely be brought up in volume same with the vocals, the delivery and melody gives me a depeche mode vibe which is dope
