it's about goddamned time. reccommending this dude, gonna keep this tab open and check it out while playing some vidya
the beats are pretty good, but you need to work on your vocal performance. there seem to be a few places where your voice wavers a bit or you hit a flat note. good fundamentals tho !
good beat, pad sounds a bit plain though and there doesn't seem to be much on the high end. work on ya mastering
hey here. thanks for the feedback senpai, nice to see people still listen and comment. you are totally right, havent released anything in a few months now because i am working on my vocals to get them halfway decent. just listened to your track and i gotta say it's doing its job. sounds great on my headphones and really creates a meditative mood. i personally would love some droplets or some in key woodblock hits here and there in that track, to spark a few waves on the solid foundation of sound.
soundcloud.com/ilovetang >dream pop, power pop, alternative Playing on December 21st and recording it live to come out on Christmas! Will be showing off 3 songs that'll feature on our 2018 LP! (will listen to whole thing in a bit but liking the 2nd track) Recs
Listened to the Is This Future, great stuff. The track flows well, and there's a good amount of variety and stuff added throughout the track. Feel like the kick could be a little louder, and personally I'd want a few more melodic elements.
I like what you're going for. Cuts could be better to avoid that clicking sound which detracts from the atmosphere. Could use more variety than repeating just the one passage at the same volume for the whole track.
Nice, your voice certainly fits the style. Maybe try layering a few guitar parts for a fuller sound, or adding some embellishments?.
You have some good sounds and ideas, would be nice if they were fleshed out a bit more as full tracks.
it's maybe a bit too distant even after it comes forward. But it's really fucking great honestly, reminds me a lot of Jai Paul's stuff. vocals are not workin for me, spacey synths could do with being pitched down so it isn't as piercing, and vocals pitched to normal pls.
you say vocals pitched to normal, but i didnt change the pitch at all. just sang different keys lol. unfortunately my normal voice is abnormally deep by default
If you're gonna repeat exactly the same loop for almost the entire song you gotta switch things up somehow, modulate the instruments somehow, add some dynamics, add or remove things, etc.

I get u there, I have to sing uncomfortably because I've not yet learnt how to write for my voice. Maybe try learning how to write for ur voice?

soundcloud.com/saturdaynightmonkeys >singer songwriter >psychedelic really great track, the instrumentals are very well done, tho the vocals are hard to catch. otherwise great shit
i like the beat and lyrics, tho the vocals are kinda dry. otherwise i like it

Well it is entirely possible that most the people that come here are busy or do something other than sit here.
Here's some feedback: I feel like the whole thing isn't meshed very well. The percussion is way too loud. The guitar and bass clash too much with the sound. With the reverby vocals, filters, and overbearing drums it really presents this excess of noise and feedback that just doesn't make it sound right.
