Reinventing The Steel [EastWest, 2000] *bomb*

Um, you do realize that Christgau is a nu male who hates all metal right? Scruffy's opinion on this album would be far more valid

Gods of the Earth

Gets a bad rep for being one of the earliest nu metal bands. Great album though, still sounds great today

100% agree. The group had tons of potential and the circumstances of their disbanding was tragic.

Love this album so much

>Um, you do realize that Christgau is a nu male who hates all metal right?
He kind of likes Motorhead.

RTS is shit though, this review is correct.

This album is the same style as that (maybe a little less riffy), and even lesser known here and elsewhere. All the stuff they did is actually pretty underappreciated, but this in particular

Oops forgot to post pic

>just gave this a chance
>he actually had an A class, golden timbre to his voice

lawdy this is great, but why does he sound like such shit now? Inb4 he’s just old as fuck

what does bomb mean?

cringe goregrind lyrics but the fucking nutworthy melodoomdeath music makes up for it, also I'm a sucker for the midi-style stabs

Better than the much more often mentioned Satan Worshipping Doom by the same band

It does have Unsung on it, which was the peak of the late 90's

Memes aside, I unironically love this album

What do you think it means?

>1992
>late 90s
I hope you're being ironic

Is Jesu a meme I'm not aware of?

All of the sword is underrated.

>pantera

It's true, real men listen to dungeons & dragons metal written by scandinavian twinks

Factually true

Pay attention to this album :(
