>criticism of bjork
I didn't read it, but they're wrong

Has Trump actually done anything good since being elected?

Why the fuck would you read any comment section on the internet, especially The Guardian?

Refreshing.

>the Era of Trump

He inspired Father John Misty to write Pure Comedy.

She's genuine, no doubt about that. She really isn't some media creation like some people make her out to be. She sometimes likes being the center of attention, but overall she's quite down to earth. At least in the nineties and early millenium. Can't speak for her modern persona, as I haven't heard all her stuff yet. I don't like it all that much so far, and I really hope she hasn't gone down the road of feminism and social justice just to sell more records.

He's not entirely wrong, after reaching her artistic peak in Vespertine her career is a case of diminishing returns, focusing more than ever on weird (and sometimes gross) antics in lieu of good music.
It has gotten worse with Arca, though, the Venezuelan faggot has completely infected her sound with his own aural ugliness.
I hope this is a midlife crisis and that she will strike gold again once she hits old age.

yea agreed. hopefully she went down that road just to be a better person.

Meticulously ensure his own demise and that of his party.

Actually reading it, this guy seems a bit insane. There's very little actual criticism of Bjork amid that tangle of mythology.

uh
can you stop posting
thanks

In the beginning it was all about music for her, now she's been poisoned by social justice and her early success. Have you noticed how pretty much all her latest album are pretty much 60% about her dressing up as some kind of obnoxious 'artsy' alien thing? With biophilia the focus was more on education, again not on the music. I guess she always made the music with the visual in mind. She should focus on the audio first, and then start thinking about visuals.

Actually i came to that conclusion about trump haters a few days ago.
Trump represents the shadow of liberals, i mean that in the jungian sense.

The only way they will overcome him is by becoming him.

Staying in this eternal state of im offended and triggered by everything all the time just feeds him more energy.

Trump is after all, the god troll. He can trigger 60 million people at once with one tweet.

Check this person’s posts, they comment on every Björk article on The Guardian and nothing else, they’re mental.

>yfw he does a Ricardo Lopez

>they
I'm confused is it a person who is commenting or multiple people?

fav rick & morty episode?

I think Trump was a good candidate precisely because of how obnoxious he is. He represents everything that's wrong with the american government. He'll never actually manage to do any substantial damage. His reactionaries will make the changes needed as to never let anyone like him come to power again.

this also fuck hilary

...

>His reactionaries will make the changes needed as to never let anyone like him come to power again.
lol bullshit.

obama was only physical change (and he wasnt much different from previous presidents besides being black) trump is spiritual change.
Trump is the 4chanification of the american character.
The right has embraced the troll, embraced its shadow. And by doing so they have reached catharsis and manifested in real life as trump

For the liberal to progress as an entity it must overcome its cultural stagnation that occurred in then obama years. It must accept its shadow self, it must move past the "im offended and triggered at everything" rainbow haired collge kid obsessed with identity of the obama years. And transform into the laid back socialist troll it needs to be who doenst give a shit if a white guy wears a sombrero but will toss a Molotov threw a bankers window

I dont watch tv

Wow I'm really afraid of these soyboys what will we ever do

>I dont watch tv
Who tf would watch rick and morty on tv :p

the key to the left is to troll them back.
Like the ones in this thread. They get really triggers if you actually have knowledge of something, or by socialism, communism.

Soon the nation will be a Sup Forums thread. Trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls.

The alt right is already dead. Its goal of getting trump elected was the only thing that held them together. That shit in charllosivelle sped up the death.

What pol doesnt realize is they are no longer the vanguard, they are the government.
These type of people love to fail, they love to struggle. They have no plans for post winning, because they do not know how to govern. They are usually purged post revolution.

The coming vanguard, especially if trump wins a second term will be Marxist in nature.

The left needs to get its groove back after becoming stale hyper neoliberals in the obama years.

The left must embrace their shadow. Yes trump is america, trump is what america really is. And thats you too.

>she'll do anything for money

literally just released the most inaccessible, uncommercial and experimental "popular" album of the year and her career

Exactly. Who else would do something like that for money?

bump

I can only imagine Bjork must've taken a fucking huge dump in his cereal one morning for him to be this mad.

>inaccessible, uncommercial and experimental

need more buzz words

>More ads for old Björk by her cult-fans. Having forced myself to sit through "Utopia", it should have been called "The Apprentice"-- for it plays into Trump's hands-- the angst of a 15 year old mind who is angry at being 51+, still bitter-and-twisted at a litany of failed relationships, but most particularly her marriage, shouting "Sue Me! Sue Me!", which Matthew Barney had to do, to obtain rights to see their daughter.

>Björk's music is hard to listen to, because it's pretentious staging is designed to dupe people who see how vapid it is to forgive her, because she uses bird hoots-- ergo, she must be worshiped for being an eco-Mama-- that's all the rage today, isn't it-- she even bragged how much she adores the naturalist David Attenborough who inspires her; who is a "big chunk of her". UGH... But that gets her a pass, no matter how puerile the lyrics are, which sound more like emails between 13 year old teenage narcissistic girls than "poetry"-- it's not even half-way decent poetry. There is nothing deep here, only a homage to Björk by Björk.

Björk is in love with being in love? Nothing new here: that the story of her sordid & squalid life-- she is always in "love"-- or if she was honest, she'd say "lust" every 2 or so years with some poor dope-- it never lasts because, like a childish teenager, nobody is more important than Björk to Björk. She doesn't leave off the gimmicky at all-- more stupidly devised masks to feign unique-- more pop-slime (research the porn-belts)-- more trilling-her-Rs-to make sure you get that it's Björk, and of course, the Lolita calling to Humbert-Humbert over and over again.

>Let's all jump on gas-guzzling private jets to those tropical islands where the little kids run around naked, and bask in orgies & nature: the fantasy that most kids indulge in before they grow up. Perhaps J. Epstein will provide his private jet? The Clintons will gladly jump on board! But the rest of us live in the real world. It's the Age of Trump-- no trick goes unnoticed, no vulgar marketing ploy goes unrewarded, and no scam goes unpaid using Bitcoins. Congrats to Björk who fits right in with today's faux-feminist who pretend to be independent women whilst infantalizing herself all the way to the Bank: Goldman Sachs.

holy fucking shit dude

>trumpettes
Why do they keep saying this? It's really not a funny or clever insult. Is the joke that they're weak like women so they're trump"ette"s? Doesn't that go against their view that men and women are the same? It's kind of like how they insinuate that every homophobe is a closeted gay. I thought being gay wasn't supposed to be a bad thing.
