He was my favorite of them all, not a weak character in the whole show I'd say, even fat greasy cardinal got a chance to shine.

Tbqh it isn't, and that's why i like this show. One of the very few nicely written religious drama. I expect a house of cards-ish backstabbing drama, with a lot of edgy-fedora rant, well i have to give it to Sorrentino for giving us a good story while not necessarily overly pandering to either side.

Not really, they built up a weird kind of relationship over the course of the show that was almost akin to young love, we got these two old fogeys who are ultimately devoted to God but are connected through Lenny and their close proximity reminded them they are still man and woman.

Nothing obviously could happen between them but still.

Cartoonish shit like this broke my immersion.
