>two of my best friends play guitar but they won't jam with me

that's a real treat my man. even if my friends did play with me, all they'd wanna do is play pop-punk or grunge. guess i'm just gonna be a one-man band for life
honestly I'm not sure how to classify my band's sound. Words we've used include: >nu-jazz/funk, post/prog j-rock, or indie jangle rock any suggestions? returning all feedback
Thanks for the feedback man. I like your sound I'm reminded a bit of Coil on the song Magma. Production is stellar, you can just kind of close your eyes and drift away to it.
Recsss: This is great. Often this kind of mathy type stuff ends up sounding really sloppy, but you guys are pretty tight. Of course, the production could be better, but I think it works. Interesting stuff. Quiet and vaguely ominous.
>experimental low-fi country slam electro retro meta-ironic postmodernist flawed grindcore joshcore jazz with punk undertones >348 tracks on this one particular album
daaamn gurrrl sounds like you had lots of fun with this, so I can't knock that.

God fuck you, you never leave feedback and push the same fucking terrible song every thread. It's really bad, rhymes are bad, flow is awful, mixing is bad.
Love that clean guitar riffing over the rest in "Asylum". Really cool sound you have. The harmonies are nice and melancholic. The vocals aren't blending as much with the rest of the mix IMO, but I think the sound you're going for is cool tho.
Hey its Adam from above ^ i said rex and sex everyone is getting it today. Pt.1 Good soundscape, i love the drums the pan on the snare is a little much for me but by the end of the track it grew on me. I thought there would be dean blunt esc lyrics. HEY MAN, always see you on here but have never listened, i love the sound of the electric piano you use! keep making good music. Listened to the pink single, the distortion in the beginning gets me erect, mix is very very nice, haha! when it goes into the beat break it makes me very happy. Little chaotic around the 1:40 mark, nothing wrong with that. Some of the most original music i've heard on the forums. look up a guy named hounds from LA. Listening to Magma: love how the song builds in the beginning, love the instrumentation. It feels very mysterious, like some one is behind me. The synth movement after the water samples, holy wow i feel the synth snake. Love it keep it up. Listening to homes: good job Daniel, great guitar work! wow wasn't expecting the synth break, but i'm in love. This song is like a strange planet that has a affection for medieval music however they only have synths to play it. Very nice composition, i don't know how long you worked on it but i do believe the transitions could use a bit of work. Drum/ Bass mix is off the chain. cut your hair you hippy, listened to the jam! You guys should make a band! The sound effects you are doing on the bass - pretty cool. You guys had it together the most during that triplet jam at around the 2min mark. Pitch change on the snare is very smart. great mix, wish there wasn't lyrics on it! The picture you used in your post is amazing. okay listening to watercolor: Mix is incredible hugs your ears in the perfect way. You do a great job of clearing everything up in your pan work. Vocals are so soft and pleasing to my ear canals. bass is relaxing almost put me to sleep.
David Baker
thanks man be sure to subscribe if you want to hear more nice use of samples in your work I'm listeing to it playing league of legends now and it's exhilarating
hey guys the shill I'm quoting below who is ruining each thread has a youtube- let's bomb it with dislikes. I've screen capped all his cringey viralling for future so he never makes it beyond the archive.
Hey Adam again! Pt. 2 The chord changes! good ol' pop music. Your lyrics are amazing, keep making this weird amazing absurd music that i've never heard before. It sounds like yo gabba gabba, i mean this in an amazing way. i imagine that green thing dancing to this song. listen to edywn colins plz i've heard i've said what i think See you here all the time. Listening to the most recent track. Sounds like you're from california and have been following the surf goth seen over here. at least the vocals are reminiscent of it. i like how thin the guitar sounds! Keep p the good work man! Very serious sounding! Love the wall of sound that greated me as i clicked on your music. Vocals are mixed just right in the beginning, maybe a little to loud in the second part could be the synths though imo. Love where the track takes me overall! was that a mc ride sample? or is that you haha Claps for you claps for you Hey immediately it sounds like i have just woken up on a sunny day. Your music delivers a certain mood that i am quite found of. Bass playing is off the chain. Love the tone of the guitar! When someone uses a picture from an anime as there track picture, it puts me in the worst mood. Good sounding low end on the track! The idea is amazing, im sure you recorded this on a cellphone or something but i really appreciate what you guys are going for! good energy good vocals, keep doing our thing. I wanted to hate it so bad but for what it is its pretty well done. you have a good voice, stop saying the n word gets me soft whenever i hear it. Good job man! i like the dreamlike state it put me in. very arm sound in general. So what your boyfriend left you get 0ver it. Stop making me sad. I like what it turns into at the minute mark. where i commented it, that detune sounds so good to me for some reason. keep up the good work.
Adam for the third time im running out of time and may not be able to get to all of your jelly beans Pt.3 Love the idea! music is very well written, mix is moist, listened to it twice, the drum machine fits your music. i really enjoy that distorted crash sound. Your voice is gud good samples, stop with the anime pictures plz Really like the effects you put on the vocals, nice touch of autotune. Listening to every day, the music almost stunned me, i'm serious i couldn't move i was just captured by your sound. I've seen you on here but never gave you a listen. wish i would've watching the youtube video with the owls haha great stuff man. You know your music is amazing why do i need to tell you again. that synth is tooooo good. reminds me of jad fair man, keep it up! okay time for a space odyssey, great mix in the headphones, drums fit in with everything that's going on. maybe add some delay to the hh sounds a little to square and out of place to me. Synth lead is nice thing. gotta a little stagnant towards the end their. good rap guyz Your track has been removed!? **Reccomondation of the day** Holy fuck. 300 something songs on bandcamp. Listend to a couple of songs. im gonna buy to support. you're doing the gods work. keep it up!
Ran out of time and got tired at the end, sorry for the people I missed, and sorry for the lack of luster towards the end.
>soundcloud.com/revingoff/normal-pitch-hook-up/s-8aiq1 Cool man! why is it private? This is like synth glamour. Great voice, and awesome production. Love how blue it is. i cant get enough of that bass, soundscape is amazing! Vox effects are unique, the reverb is perfect. Thanks for sharing man!

hey, I like some of your music but the stuff that touched me the most was when you were showing some kind of craftsmanship other than the plunder bits and sampling.
At first I thought the synths were all you and the guitars were you. I'm pretty sure the latter is but the plundered synths aren't yours. I noticed your beats are often kind of a bit in the background too and tracks are too long.
My advice is to make a more succinct track using your best elements fearlessly and then try to get a singer to go over some of it - when you sample 80s singers it just reeks too much of vapourware and make you seem like you're 16.
You have a lot to offer though behind that pastiche stuff. I'd just bring it out in between the cracks and spaces.
Dominic Lopez
it needs some mixing work and some labels were sniffing so I thought I'd see what was on the cards. that said I find videos and EPs to be a bit uninteresting so ill most likely drop it at random next week. thanks for listening to it

Thanks man Thanks for the love Adam, yeah the reason the transitions sound weird is because the the synth break was a separate track from the rest (it was sequenced on a computer, while the rest was done with live playing) so for the overall track I just left a bit gap for the synth break to go and pulling of the transitions was a bit tricky, but i was pretty much the best I could pull off. The finished album will have more tracks with authentic sounding Medieval instruments, like lute, recorder, organ, harp, stuff like that.
Jason Richardson
Oh, this is very cool. Love your Death Grips inspired track
Christopher Harris
Not nearly enough witch house anymore. I like your style!
Woah, the track is pretty weird, but not in a bad way. First half has a cool instrumental, but the vocals aren't really my thing. Second half really picks it up though. Also the bit with the synth solo at 3 minutes is cool. I think you were successful in making a weird pop song.
