I'm kinda bored.
Can someone recommend me some movies that give you a sense of adventure like you are on a journey or something.
Preferably fantasy but it can be anything really.

Lord of the Rings (especially the Fellowship of the Ring) is probably the best example. If you don't mind animated stuff, then Shrek has that kind of feeling too.

It's not the kind of film that ages much. It relies on actor performance and frame composition. It's a mix between theater acting and grand scenery.
Conan the Barbarian (1982)
The Princess Bride
It still holds up but then again, the story is timeless.
The Hundred-Foot Journey
Yea it still does.
It still a well shot film and I think it does a great job of capturing the feel of adventure with its atmosphere
It definitely still holds up. It makes the desert seem so cool and magical you could almost understand why Arabs have been fighting over scraps of it for 2,000 years.

>Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
>Das Boot
>Wake in Fright
>Paris, Texas
City of Ember was fucking trash. The premise wasn't bad and it had nice aesthetics, but the plot was beyond retarded.
I suppose, it's been a while since I've seen it but the soundtrack, visuals and general pace of the movie made it an enjoyable watch as far as I remember.
God tier.
