FIRST for CUSA

Mount Union is winning it all in 2017.

>he's a normie that doesn't know about Mount Union and Wisconsin Whitewater winning the thing basically every season

are there actually casuals that post in /cfb/ who only follow P5 football?

Embarrassing tbqh

So didn't care about or even watch football at all until last year. Last year I joined WSU's marching band so how the team does actually effects me. Last year I got really into it and stuff but I still don't know that much about anything. how do you go about learning about everything? just watching enough games?

Learning about your own team and getting to know your PAC-12 rivals is a good start. The Apple Cup rivalry, too.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_State_Cougars_football

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pac-12_Conference

And in general, watch as many CFB games as you can.

Welcome to CFB, friend.

Being in the marching band is really cool. You'll get to witness some great football games in person.

Winspedia is a cool site that can help you get to know your team better, and shows head to head data on your team vs rivals

EWU, here. Get fucked, Pullwoman.

thanks, you guys are very helpful.

leave me alone jerk. the team wasn't working well together. they got it figured out after. If they would have played mid-season, WSU would have won

>when a team loses a tune-up game against a team from a lower division, and then that lower team ends up having more draftees than the tune up team
It's just sad. We might as well replace you in the PAC-12, and you can drop down and be a Big Sky school.

well we were ranked for a little bit if that means anything

It does. I'm just meming. Your school should do pretty well this year, again.

>EWU
Change that godawful crimson field turf.

What an abomination. You can't actually think it looks good, can you?

The Smurf turf is ugly, but at least it doesn't give you eye cancer.

>posting the old logo

That is from the glory days of CUSA, when it had good programs like ECU and USF.

>hustlebelt.com

Leave it to the MAC to have their own SB Nation site, but it sounds like a Sun Belt site.

The Big 8 should come back.

Add Colorado State and Wyoming and you have the comfiest conference in all the land.

Just a bunch of good, humble, midwestern folks.

No cancerous Texans.

FBS or GTFO

>when it had good programs

They still do, friendo.

>Only 2 non-conference Power 5 teams have ever traveled to Pullman
What the fuck?

Well, in their defense, Pullman is a terrible place.

>65 Days

did you even go to your favorite team's school??

UT Civil Engineering '13, homie

Mizzou will win the SEC East this year and there is nothing you can do about it

Still
Wisconsin did a home and home with fucking Fresno State
They couldn't get a desperate team like Indiana to go up there?

Btw Gameday is going to Pullman September 23rd
They host fucking Nevada that week but there's nothing interesting other than Washington at Colorado
The next week would be a lock if it wasn't on a Friday

I don't think the athletic department as Wazzu has a lot of brains. They only recently came into money, when the conference expanded to 12, and they just blew it all on Mike Leach.

Maybe they just had a bunch of old commitments from those dark days? Once they play Boise and Montana this year, I checked the schedule... next year they host Auburn and BYU.

IS SHIT

t. Fun Belt

Bump

Mizzou won't win a single game in 2017

Here's the reveal for the 2013 playoff sim
Note I ranked team based on regular season only
Not their bowl game

>Came into money
Well a year ago they had a $13 million deficit and I don't think much of it is paid off.

Enjoy your 6-6 season.

Reminder that PJ Fleck is taking based Goldy to the B1G title game CAP IT

ugh, FINE

Well then they're even more trash than i thought

This year theyade a $100 student fee for everyone and doubled the price of student season tickets to pay.

>student fee
That's not unusual for an upstart team trying to make it in the big city
>doubled season ticket cost
jesus fuck, to watch them play Montana? fuck that noise, what did they cost before?

I don't remember the prices exactly, I get in free. Last year it was around $150 for student passes. This year I think it's $256

As a student at my shitty G5, I got in free, yes. As an alum, season tix weren't cheap.

For a P5 school, that price isn't unreasonable, but jacking them THAT MUCH over ONE season is, while not illegal, certainly a dick move.

Way to go, Coogs.

If they hadn't raised ticket prices, Wazzu would have just raised Student Fees even more.

At least this way, the students who aren't interested in football don't have to cover the cost.

Oklahomo is basically Texas.

I hate that App doesn't get to play Georgia Southern in Week 13.

It's mostly because ESPN loves to put our rivalry game on a Thursday Night because they know people will tune in as long as there isn't a P5 matchup.

It's been on Thursday nights in mid-October/November for the last 3 seasons and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Mizzou confirmed for assblasted

Oh and I forgot, they aren't tickets just for football games. The student pass gives admission to every home game for every sport for the year

Does WSU have any other good sports right now?

Do you also play in the band during basketball games?

>Arkansas State all by themselves in the "eternally cucked by Troy and App" category
lel

>sleeping on the Cajuns

watch your back.

We do have a couple other teams worth watching. No one watches them though. We have good Women's soccer, women's basketball, and volleyball teams. Their games are actually a lot of fun to watch but students only care about football.

I play at the basketball games but not with the band. I'm in the drumline and for everything but football we are completely separate. They have a small pep band play basketball and volleyball games. They have a drum set guy instead of the drumline. I play that too but they have a couple guys that are music performance majors with a drunset focus so it's way out of my league. The drumline does all men's and women's bball and soccer as well. And a couple of random volleyball games and swim meets

Threadly reminder that Florida will beat Florida State at the College Football Playoff

No ACC or SEC will make the playoff this season fampai

A team from Florida will make it, though.

Finally, CFL to tide me over until American football

>Autism the post

I'll bite, who do you have in the playoff

>implying Alabama vs Clemson III isn't happening

>tfw my NCAA dynasty of over 20 seasons just got corrupted

Welp.

That's not football.

There's no possible way this is accurate, WKU just lost their head coach and all-star QB. They're #3 at best.

Sliding everyone else up one might work though, depending on whether you think Marshall will return to glory this year, or shit the bed like 2016.

That depends whether you give credit for the Bama run to Saban or Kiffin.

Kiffin left, and without him Saban is 0-1. Discuss.

It's close enough to get my to remember actual football

It's clearly a deluded bullfag.
"U"SF will NEVER EVER make the playoffs
the AAC will NEVER EVER be a power conference

Which one were you playing?

UT Management Information Systems '21

>tfw transferring to UT this fall

Anything I should know about?

>He's not even an athlete at his team's school
As a member of the "athletic band" I'm technically a WSU athlete

This has me concerned
Right now we don't have a Marquee non-conference game in 2021
Wyoming and UConn are scheduled
Are we forgoing the in-state FCS team or is the best we get?

Currently enrolled now. Several family members are Alum. FSU through and through

I wonder what his new motto will be. ROW THE BOAT was great.

I believe he's bringing it with him.

>like ECU

ECU is at a historic low right now, but the good times are comin'

>did you even go to your favorite team's school?

Absolutely, and I did my best to maintain our reputation as rabble rousing, rum soaked, beer guzzling alcoholics with an education problem.

Christ, I remember when student passes were ~$120 at WSU, hell I'm going to the University of Fucking Texas and it's only $175 for student passes.

>only

Florida pre-law 2018

The Washington State University, Economics '15

Not as good as "swing your sword"

Saban has 4 of his 5 without Kiffin.

>he has to pay to attend football games as a student

>in addition to the tuition and fees that already go to football

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>1.5 years ago $180,000 of student fees bought new band uniforms for me to wear
>Their student fees paid for my backpack, lots of nike gear like a $60 polo shirt, brand new Nike shoes, a charter flight to San Diego and hotel rooms, and lots of food
Feels good. Thanks guys.

Bama or FSU would win

Alabama students pay like $75, dear God

No
Blame my mother for that

13. Never bought 14, because around the time it came out, I stopped playing video games for a while. Little did I know it was going to be the last one. Now when I see it for sale it's like $50-$60

Ohio State Mathematics 2019

Ohio State's student ticket package is ~$130, but being able to go to the Michigan game last season was worth every penny of it. There is a pretty large demand for buying and selling tickets, and since the Michigan game was at the end of Thanksgiving Break, a lot of my out of state roomates that went home over break and weren't going to be able to make it back in time sold their Michigan ticket for like $200 and ended up turning a profit on their student tickets.

How did they sell the tickets?

Is it not through your Student ID?

At my university, they swipe your ID at the gate and check the photo. No match, no entry.

Sell it to other students that didn't buy tickets.

Also I think you can pay a small fee to upgrade a student ticket to a normal ticket.

For us, the ticket is loaded onto your student ID and you can't transfer it to someone else's.

Do you get physical tickets or something?

Yeah. On move in day you go to will call and pick up tickets. It's pretty cool having a physical ticket from all of the games you attended.

It's filled with liberal traitors. I can't do anything that might hint I'm a conservative at this campus because if people found out I'd be attacked. Plus firearms aren't allowed on campus anymore, so I keep a "replica" 1858 Army Revolver under my mattress. I will fucking blow a camel jockey's brains out if he thinks about coming into my room in the night.

You must be really fun to talk to at parties.

BYU is bigger than Utah. Pac-12 membership will only get those bums so far.

Cal Geology '14. Did marching band there too all 4 years too.

Anyone else going to Australia for the Rice game?

you'd have to a seriously autistic rich person to even consider that.
