the same man who thought two LW would be good
They were quite successful from the late 90s up until the 03/04 season when Hierro and Makelele left. After that they tried and failed to replace Hierro many times, and they didn't think they needed a DM so you got mediocre signings like Gravesen, Diarra etc.
Helgura and Salgado weren't anything special either, neither were world class. Raul and Ronaldo weren't as good as their mid/late 90s selves, Zidane didn't bother turning up against smaller teams, Figo was put on the LW to accomadate Beckham, and Roberto Carlos couldn't defend. The team had no stability or cohesion, it's no surprise they failed.
The league title with Capello perhaps?
Figo and Zidane were already gone.
Ronaldo got traded to Milan halfway through that season.
>it's no surprise they failed.
and yet it's still remembered as a legendary unbeatable team.
Modern Halal are much better with literal whos like Keylor, Carvajal and Casemiro
because people confuse ages
unbeatable madrid was pre-ronaldo
They had a good name
this
when Real bought literal whos they became a stronger and better team than galaticos
