I dunno but if it's as big a jump forward as NTAE to AV was, they gonna have to give me whatever the opposite of Viagra is.

I thought that NTAE was fucking awesome, not sure which was better or worse.

I WEAR THIS CROWN OF SHIT

I CAHM BAK HAWNTED

I CAME BACK HOME TED

These EPs will come down as the best thing NIN has ever done. If third EP will be up to the quality to these two, this will be Trent's Berling Trilogy.

I don't like EP's
its like fore play without the sex.
I need a full album effort b

"Berlin"

Far as I know the waveform on last EP had a January date in it.

Just listen to NTAE and AV together.
And that's the point though, foreplay is still going on, we will all cum at the third EP's release
Who knows, may be concidental.

I have a feeling the EPs will combine into a full album. Either that or Trent really wants to rehash stuff this year.

are they supposed to be connected?

You don't get coincidental numbers in your spectrograph user, that's not how sound works

Yes, Trent said so himself.

If you don't believe me, look at these lyrics and tell me there is no connection

>Dear World,
Yes, everyone seems to be asleep
>The Lovers
Finally finally, everyone seems to be asleep...but me.

ok but connected or part of the same album?

Is it confirmed to be real though?

I mean, you can check it yourself?

Trent said that these EPs will be remixed and eventually will make an album, the EPs are also connected.
I'm a pleb though.

>Get a lossless version of AV
>Google how to display spectrograph
>Look at The Background World
Done. Audacity should be fine.

so why is he releasing this material early?
by the time the album comes out it will just be compilation album, basically no point to listen to it specificially

>so why is he releasing this material early?
Because when you release an album, people will talk about it a week, or two, then people will move on to other things.

With EPs being released over years, people are talking about them, ancipating them and speculating, it also leads Trent and Atticus to be more experimental with the sound (When Add Violence was finished, Trent admitted that he never knows how the next EP is going to sound like, but has lyrics ready)
>by the time the album comes out it will just be compilation album
He did say that the entire album will have different versions of the songs.

people talk about full length albums a lot longer.
if the album is good enough its posted on Sup Forums all year or even for years.
different versions of the songs sounds cool but its still the same tracks right?

>if the album is good enough its posted on Sup Forums all year or even for years.
On Sup Forums? Maybe.
But in general? I don't think so, and after the album is released, hype is dead.

With this, Trent is giving out material while still keeping you on the edge for the next release, wondering what the fuck next release is gonna sound like.

'''''normies' are not true fans of music
they got game of thrones episode 908 to talk about

Just wait until christmas, guys.

Thanks famalam, if that's really you (probably not, but I guess we'll find out soon).

Circumcision?

This month or next.

I can't fucking wait.

Anyone got any theories on what sound ep3 might go for?

>NTAE
>Industrial rock, most agressive NIN in years
>Add Violence
>Arguably most experimental record NIN have ever put out since Ghosts

I don't know where to go from here, maybe we will get something like Still?

I'm thinking if this is supposed to tell a story, maybe EP3 will have a mix of those two completely different sounds? An EP like still would be amazing too.

>These EPs will come down as the best thing NIN has ever done

low bar though considering the rest sucks shit

nah you're wrong.
This is a possibility and also what I thought, but I doubt we will see coming what Trent is cooking up.

Lol pleb
The Background World part 2 with another 52 loops?

>The Background World part 2 with another 52 loops?
The Background World does cut off, I actually imagined the static fuckery going on but with vocals added in and other instrumentals, suddenly building in deeper into the chaos.

Doubt it'll happen.

I had a theory that maybe the abrupt ending is because it's gonna build up to the first track of EP3? I'm probably wrong though since tront loves him some abrupt songs.

Yeah, also keep in mind that literally ALL Add Violence songs end abrubtly

We literally have the release date, and we had it since AV came out, try to keep, Sup Forums.

In the meantime listen to this, you won't regret it.

That song exploder is the best interview Trent has ever parcipated in.

Makes me really sorry to hear how painful the lyircal content and overall meaning of The Lovers is. But, it's Trent, and it's NIN, I should have seen it coming.

the chorus made me think it was a song about childbirth, inspired by numerous anxious nights next to Mariqueen in the hospital

I assumed "The lovers" in the song were a thing that kept the protagonist in the machine, in the simulation, preventing him from getting out.

what date?

i.4cdn.org/mu/1512680469181.jpg

january 31st?

13 - 1 - 18

Janurary 13th?

How can we be certain that is for the third EP though? maybe there are other plans

I doubt Trent knew so fully well when the third EP is going to be released to include this message. The EPs do not have a set date for a reason. They are made kind of like The Slip, with more time instead of three weeks though.

...

That is not a set date precise date thought, it is estimated one

>6 to 8 months following a July release
>January on TBG
