>soyboys and nu-males
quick reminder that you are a fucking retarded memer

Continue here

na thanks

Maybe this is more your style

From what I've listened to from AJJ, I prefered The Bible 2.

>faggy libs
>use Andrew Jackson in their name
Wherefore?

Such a sad demise. I used to really, like really like People That Can Eat People, like it was an anthem for me at the time. Then they released a couple awful albums, and changed their name so that SJW culture didn't bite them in the ass. (makes sense if you wanted to fit in to pop culture, but all that did was divide their fan base in two, and on top of that didn't help them at all in the industry. Just a publicity stunt that did virtually nothing.)

I've completely lost respect for them over the last couple years, and as such I've stopped listening to their music. It's really sad since I thought they could be something awesome with some fine tuning, but alas is was not meant to be. Just hope other bands that are getting big look back and learn from these guys mistakes.

From left to right: Ashens, tiny Danny Trejo, Nerdcubed, Gay John Oliver, Brent Burns

Know what u mean, People is 10/10 but the other recs really dont click for me, at least on first listen, Knife man is good but the rest is kinda meh

Yea, I mean Can't Maintain, Knife Man, and Candy Cigarettes are all decent, but they really don't compare to People That Can Eat People. I was hoping they would keep releasing record and get better with age, but they kinda petered out and stagnated. No, they are diminishing in quality as they age. It's kinda weird, like what the fuck is going on with them? Must be some shit we don't know.

They made some bad choices unfortunately, and some bad albums to boot. Hopefully they bounce back, but I doubt "AJJ" is going to be the resounding success they used to be. It's all downhill from here unless they release a standalone that competes with their best unfortunately. :(

Days n Daze, Bomb the Music Industry!, Mischief Brew, anything by Pat the Bunny (Ramshackle Glory, Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Wingnut Dishwashers Union)

the thing that i like about this album is the energy of the instumentation and the singer
singing along to it feels good

Harley Poe, Walter Mitty and his makeshift orchestra, just nick.

Anything by Pat The Bunny

knife man is a bit different, but still awesome, along with some splits and stuff. once christmas island happened they kinda fell off a bit. but i would recommend paul baribeau. really great folk/punk singer/songwriter type stuff.

I like Harley Poe, they're kinda similar.

This

Listen to Can't Maintain by AJJ,natural next step.
The Malakas are alright
I like Swing Lo Magellan by the Dirty Projectors for a little more hip-hop bit.

...

Knifeman, by the same band. Then:
Ghost Mice - All We Got is Eachother
Ramshackle Glory - Live the Dream
Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains - Love Songs for the Apocalypse
Harley Poe - Satan, Sex, and No Regrets
Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes

Quick reminder you're a bugman cuck xddddddd You just don't like them because they have a song where they say "I like laughing at retards" you libtard cuck :^)

I didn't like The Bible 2 except for American Garbage, Junkie Church, and Terrifyer. Their new EP was pretty awesome, and nobody really talked about it. Also, everyone shat on christmas island, but I thought it was great.

Not anymore. Didn't you hear? They switched to AJJ because they didn't want to associate with Andrew Jackson and felt it was disrespectful as white americans to have the name jihad in their name.

This

>Ramshackle Glory - Live the Dream
>Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains - Love Songs for the Apocalypse
This.
Also:
Wingnut Dishwashers - Burn The Earth! Leave It Behind!
Ramshackle Glory - Die The Nightmare
Elway - Delusion

Not a big fan of the commie sentiment in the lyrics but I gotta admit their music is really good.

Anyone wearing a Mutoid Man shirt is cool with me.

Wasn't a fan of Burn the Earth!, and I haven't heard Die the Nightmare. I'll check out Elway if I get a chance though. Sounds interesting.

I agree. I'm by no means a communist, or even a socialist, but I love Pat and his work.

i care

Yeah man And if you like punk in general i have a whole list of bands i can post. I have more than this now so its a bit out dated but its a majority of what i have.

yes

Good meme

Can't Maintain and Knife Man By AJJ
Could go into older albums of theirs too if you like those two
Maybe Ramshackle Glory Live the Dream, if you like that look into more pat the bunny.
Other than that most folk punk is bad :(

Is this a joke?????????

wasn't ready for this nostalgia

nana grizol
mewithoutYou
Wingnut Dishwashers Union
Paul Baribeau

mewithouYou seems like a weird jump but I can see it. Very different musically but I think the lyrical content is close enough to maybe click. Be prepared for a lot of discussion about G-d though, OP. It connects with my agnosticism, but if you're an atheist you might find it off-putting. You might find it nice too though! Aaron's relationship with religion is a lot more nuanced and mature than any given "Christian" band (which is a low bar of course)

idk the manlet looks fairly jacked.

why though? if you really care about who is *insert internet buzzword here* maybe it's time to find a real life hobby

Seen days n daze live twice. once with LoC and once at their own show. Love those guys and gals. They have a great sense of humor. I got shitfaced at both their shows.

...

Surprised nobody's mentioned tfb yet, they're pretty similar to ajj

This thread is a gold mine. Thanks everyone!

this is the real answer. Seeing them live in a few days. This is more of a 'senior in highschool rebelling' sort of folk punk though. but it's so fucking good.

because irony

Can't maintain is underrated imo.

That it. It’s the only good one.

You're in for a great show, I just saw them twice in Chicago and as bad as their new album is, they play it with so much energy live
