Personally, my favorite artists are Rembrandt and Michelangelo, and maybe Van Gogh. Rembrandt is favorite of them all though, especially his biblical themes and the nights watch

I intend to emulate Edward Hopper and Simon Stalenhag, so though in every day conversation, Rembrandt is my go-to example for greatness.

Still life. This was more of an experiment in cross hatching, but I dont really like how it turned out, the limes are kind of thick.
Also, what is your favorite art period? Mine would probably be baroque, mostly for it being basically a better version of the reneissance, and I like the epic scenes. Also like Rococo and impressionism.

Well if you want to learn drawing, I highly reccomend drawing from life, first still life, then faces, then figures. It only takes a few years to get really good
