He'll continue his slow descent into madness as his beloved 2015 becomes an even more distant memory.

one day at a time

He'll keep saying its 201X
How fucking old are you ape?

This.
Everyone acts like he loved 2016 just because it was the current year, but I think the loss of 2015 truly broke the man.

I don't know, but would you?

Why did they double down after the election instead of realising where they went wrong?

If they admit they're wrong they lose everyone else

>it's 2017

Because they want to keep their liberal audience.
It's the only one left to them.
Most of the right wing has moved to the Internet anyway and the old folks watch only fox.

do you understand how shills work at all?

Probably fine. Trump is a hack who just simply bowed down to the establishment.

?

I hope someone tells him to suck it up and accept the direction the world is taking because it's 2017.

I hope they turn his retarded whiggism against him

Agree. 2015 was truly the year of le current year man. 2016 has been hard for john oliver.

youtube.com/watch?v=vk_QnKtBH8w

we'll see

Guys, 2017 is ours.

Whenever there's something bad happening to women, homosexuals, Muslims or transallies John Oliver will be there to remind us that it's 2017; the year the world "went to hell in a handbasket"

How would John Oliver react if the year was 2258 and the place was Babylon 5?

>Liberals are starting to turn against Bernie Sanders now

Did you see his most recent appearance on Conan where he ranted about how Trump's tweet about illegal voting was him trying to suppress gay votes? I like Bernie's old school socialist message, but the dude is such a major fucking SJW at the same time it's genuinely offputting.

brutal

I think Bernie isn't as bad as some SJW's really are. I really do mean that. Bernie stands up for gays and a lot of other minorities so its still in characters for him. Thats what drew people to him. That he felt genuine in what he believes in and stands up for.

I thought john oliver was an internet show

>I'm genuine guys
>give me money
>loops I lost lol all the money to the clinton's now

yes good goy

I'm sure he comes across that way, but I genuinely believe he's trying to fight for people who need someone on their side, not shit like furries or fatties.

All the republican candidates sucked Trump's dick after they lost too.

Like a god. His job is now literally so easy.

Gays and minorities need someone to stand up for them? They're pretty much untouchable.

Someone post the pasta screen cap

...

It's cable TV.
some parts of his show are uploaded on YouTube

As much as I despise her, Hillary Clinton never willingly gave up her microphone to Black Lives Matter, and she never said anything as bad as "white people don't know what it's like to be poor" during her campaign.

Bernie is more credible than a lot of politicians, but he fucking panders for that SJW vote, and hard.

>because they want to keep their liberal audience

Bullshit, it's because the DNC and their shills want the left-wing vote without ever actually having to do anything for the working class. They're getting rid of as many genuine social policies as possible, gutting unions and protectionist measures in favour of a globalized economy that redirects the wealth in the hands of the already wealthy.

Neoliberalism is neither left-wing nor liberal, it's rampant crony capitalism with a feel-good illusion.

To be fair, he only really started taking this tone after he was accused of dog-whistling and using white nationalist rhetoric after he claimed that most of racism could be dealt with if we only focused on economic issues.

Yeah, and I hate to say, but I think we dodged a bullet not getting a president who buckles the second he gets a hint of criticism that he might be a racist for saying the Democrats need to connect with working class white people.

>mfw this thread triggers the reddit janitors.

he'll probably continue having a popular tv show and being a successful entertainer. which is the same answer i gave when pol was asking this question the same time last year

I don't disagree with you, him abandoning his no nonsense economic focus in favour of identity politics was pretty heart breaking.

I think he felt like he needed the support of minorities if he wanted to win, but even bending over wasn't enough to please the black community, who would have rather had the first "Black" president's baby mamma.

2017 will become the new worst year of all time because some old people will die of natural causes and some natural disasters will happen somewhere in the world, as though these don't happen literally every single year since the dawn of time

now explain why trump has staffed his cabinet with globalist wall street bankers and supply side economists and why wages for the middle and lower class go up during democratic administrations and go down during republican ones i am curious

who's argument are you intentionally misrepresenting? nobody has ever said anything that even resembles this

not an pun

He's going to be on the left side of history now.

>Alan Rickman died, worst year EVAR
>Prince died, even worsest year of all tiem
>Some other chucklefuck died, OMFG
ad infinitum

>Oh I'm sorry, you don't want to send ALL the Muslims to the Trump camps?
>This would be like hiring an exterminator and NOT getting rid of all the ants! No I'm sorry Andy the Ant, you cant stay here!
>It's 2017! I mean, come on!

People get upset when other people die. how autistic are you?

Getting upset over the deaths of people you've never met or had any personal connection too is dumb.

You are being autistic.

John Oliver said 2016 was the worst year ever. Some examples he gave included arbitrary deaths.

At least one of Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen will die in 2017. Screencap this.

>personal connection too
>too
>dumb

Oh the ironing pottery. Also, look up empathy. I know autistic people have trouble understanding it, but at least try. This is the part where you go "b-b-ut I'm not autistic" at which point I call you a sociopath and you then go full edge mode and we dance a merry dance.

Anyone have the webm of him blowing up the year 2016?

Not only did Hillary lose, the entire democrat party got ass raped in every chamber.

Bernie is a genuinely left-wing guy trying to play the left-wing game as it exists in 2016 and getting stomped at it. These people are lunatics.

That's his secret: every year will at some point be the current year.

A) I'm not defending Trump, you fucking mouthbreather, neither am I defending the GOP, I know both of them are actually worse than the Democrats. That still doesn't excuse the DNC abandoning the working class to suck corporate cock though.

B) Wages aren't as affected by Democrat rule than by Republican rule, but the middle class has been effectively shrinking under Democratic supervision, and they've nothing to equilibrate the growing wage-productivity divide that has been happening since the 70's. They sold out and stopped being the party of labour, posing as the "lesser of two evils" won't motivate the working class to vote for you, and if they keep rehashing the same tired bullshit, they'll keep depressing their electorate further and further.

poor niggers, they just lost the race card and are too stupid to know where to go from here without the direction of some shifty kike holding their hand.

Not years in the past.

Mainstream American left wing politics aren't left wing in the slightest.

It's a sham, all of it.

gotchu senpai

I loved his meltdown in reaction to Trump's victory

>Maybe if I sound out of breath and talk really fast, people will think what I'm saying is important

You'd think that as much money that Current Year man has, he'd get invisiline for his fucked up chompers

Bernie probably wanted to not be slaughtered

what do you guys all mean when you insist on this idea that democrats have sold out the middle class? GOP (and blue dog democrats) blocked hard hitting wall street reform, they blocked campaign contribution reform, and theres no fucking way the party of reaganomics would ever allow any kind of protectionist policies attempting to bring back manufacturing jobs, not that it would matter since automation is what has killed manufacturing jobs, not outsourcing. our factories are producing at an all time high with a fraction of the work force, those jobs are never coming back. meanwhile gop wants to subsidize coal as their big strategy to bring back these jobs, when in reality there are no jobs to bring back and we'll only be subsidizing ceo pockets. and they want to do that instead of investing in new industries which can actually compete with the 3rd world through level of education and expertise, instead of finagling our markets to somehow make it profitable to pay some schlub in a coal pit 12 dollars an hour. the only argument to make against democrats in this case is nafta, which was originally signed by bush sr and had more support in congress by the gop than democrats. i just dont get it

they sold out the middle class to concentrate on niggers, fags, and the new age of freaks now that fags are considered normal.

This nigga gets it.

Anyone thinking SJWs are the reason Trump won don't go outside often enough.

Beautiful

are you referring to the democratic party from the 60s, or now?

which policies specifically have democrats supported that hurt the middle class? because if you look at income trends, the wealth gap widens drastically as soon as supply side economics are implemented in the 80s

>open the floodgates to foreigners to compete with remaining low-skilled jobs
>make Americans train H1Bs to replace them
>place ridiculous regulations and restrictions on the energy industry killing jobs
>make college education worthless

kys

NAFTA and the TPP, for a start.

>globalized economy that redirects the wealth in the hands of the already wealthy

This. They talk all the time of the benefits of free trade for the average Joe,but a couple years before TPP they complained that all the economic gains for decades goes to the 1%.

Fix the fact that the richer get richer before shipping jobs overseas that benefit America, but really just the 1%

same in germany.
also it is funny how all the right wing idiots call merkel leftist, while she may be more left in regards of refuges and crap like that, but she doesn't give a fuck about wages or workers in general.
many dumb workers think the afd (new right wing party) is the party for the normal people left behind, while in fact it is the same shit over again, just more national and anti immigrant.

>well in muh cucked country leftwing means this!

Nobody gives a fuck about your political spectrum, Ahmed.

.

Yes and no.

While their focus on social progressiveness didn't cost them any considerable support, the fact that they thought it was enough to earn them the working class vote did.

NAFTA for one. People act like NAFTA was an inevitability and a bipartisan deal, but the fact of the matter is that the Democrats would have never let it pass if it was a Republican president trying to pass it. Clinton was for it, therefore a great deal of his party followed, such is the tribalistic of American politics.

TPP is another one, not only in its "free trade" aspects, but also in the insane amount of power it gives to corporations through its intellectual property reforms.

Unwillingness to face Republicans on economic issues is another massive problem. The Democrats are so devoid of any sense of self-respect that they let the Republicans roll all over them, either through obstructionist shenanigans, or by conciliatory options that allow the Republicans to keep shifting the political balance to the right. Just look at what happened with Merrick Garland for fuck's sake, Obama was absolutely pathetic.

Whatever Jamal.
It is happening in many countries and just shows how dumb the likes of you are.

lmao, did you demand this from people after Barack won too? oh right, only now, hypocritical fags, all of you

>no free speech
>no guns
>have to give up your homes to rapefugees
>go to jail if you speak out about rapefugees

Yes you are radically leftwing compared to the US, but you don't know what freedom is so being cucked it normalized for you

That's why we don't give a fuck about your opinion or your politics.

Nobody gives a fuck about Germany. It is already beyond saving.

THIS

By bitching about this year for the next 8 years like the talentless, nothing else going for him faggot that he is

He's not wrong though, the left-right axis is mostly defined by a government's willingness to fix what are considered to be inherent inequalities in society (left) or to uphold the natural, sacred, order of things (right).

Considering neither the Republicans nor the Democrats seem especially interested in fixing the most blatant inequalities in American society, it's not inaccurate to state that both of them stand on the right wing side of the political spectrum.

You missed the point, nobody gives a shit about Germany's politics.

>trump will be a president for 8 years
yeah nah

Heh, it can be interesting to see how other countries deal with the perceived left-right divide.

That being said, you're right in that it wasn't exactly the most pertinent comment concerning the topic at hand.

People only care about identity politics. It's why "jobs" are spoken about like its something you can sacrifice your first born to. People are being proselytized to. It's why when Bernie started speaking about near-truthful economic policies, he was called a racist, white supremacist, old geezer, etc etc. Meanwhile Hillary was literally making facebook posts entirely in Spanish while having photo-ops with Mexicans and Trump was talking about shooting a guy on Fifth Avenue.

>NAFTA
The thing Bush Sr. signed and approved of (and was mostly approved by Republicans)

>TPP
The thing that was also bipartisan?

Globalization knows no affiliation except class.

>I get my news from Sup Forums

Not that user you are arguing with but nothing you said was right
I am only agreeing that we don't have free speech if you agree you don't have free speech either.
I can't deny the holocaust if I wanted to and you can't call for a boycott of products from Israel.

There are 3 gun clubs in walking distance from me.
And nobody was forced to give the refugees a home.
And of course everyone is talking about this.

We are not used to crime and non-whites like you are.
But we are going to handle this better than you

I always find it funny to hear from america about bullshit and them telling me we are fucked.
Its like people who are already drowning are looking at our ship and saying we have leaks.

Your own problems are far worse.
We could take every single syrian and african refugee and we wouldn't stand half as bad as your almost third world country.

This. Bernie is to SJWs what PC Principal is to that frat of "YOU PC, BRO?" guys.

Bernie, and PC Principal, actually give a fuck. The others are just using it to get attention.

What is he demanding? You idiot.

Bernie as a person is great.
Its just that his politics won't work.
They never did.

I don't know how many more people need to die before people realize communism doesn't fucking work.

TPP and NAFTA also being liked by Republicans don't really help your point, lad, on the contrary, it reinforces the notion that the Democrats are selling out the American working class and middle class.

No one here claims that the Republicans are the ones protecting those two groups, simply that the Democrats used to be the ones to defend them, and that now they pretty much have no one to represent their interests.

Sanders isn't a communist though, his politics are not too different from those of countries like Canada, or Denmark, which could hardly ever be called communist regimes.

That being said, a lot of his policies seem rather unrealistic to implement in a country on the scale of the US, and with a population that has a rather vitriolic response to most social programs, or higher taxes.

Sanders' positions are admirable, but I don't think they are compatible with the American popular consensus.

He will definitely get re-elected IF in the first 100 days he announces a big league gold statue of himself innocently patting lady liberty on the buttocks

2018 mid-terms are going to be funny for you.
You probably think that is when the democrats will fight back.

You do realize that Clinton added the
The North American Agreement on Labor Cooperation (NAALC) and the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC), this two "agreements" (massively backed by Dems) are the ones that destroyed your middle class.

He's a commie and a jew. These two are a terrible thing.

>even some fat went to her tittys
hnnnnnng

>yeah nah

What are you doing on Sup Forums
Dont you have a highway to block?

I wouldn't underestimate the incompetence of the Democratic Party.

Just look at the way they are trying to blame everyone but themselves for losing the elections, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they gave senate supra-majority to the GOP during the midterms (one of the reasons I think McConnell/Graham/McCain are withholding their support for the abolition of the filibuster) and give them two more terms as well, depending on how late the economy takes a dive, and how well they manage to scapegoat Democratic motions/obstructionism for it.

Anyone who didn't watch the livestream of that with pol when it aired really missed out. It was such a perfect season finale. Seeing him rant for twenty minutes and then the slow descent into chaos, it was the best episode he ever did.

I agree, I think he'll be too old and just say: If you liked me, just vote for Mike Pence. Then he sends mike away to do all the campaigning.
