Shit Music Opinions You Used to Have

>Modest Mouse is just some another one hit wonder indie band from the 2000s
>inb4 they still are

Lonesome Crowded West may be the pinnacle of Post-Hardcore

>TLCW
>post-hardcore
You want to run that by me one more time?

wat

What is
>Teeth Like God's Shoeshine
>Truckers Atlas
>Convenient Parking
>Shit Luck
>Cowboy Dan

what was the hit?

it's the pinnacle of post-hardcore because it's not post-hardcore

i'll give you shit luck but the rest couldn't be more indie rock if it tried

Float On. That's literally the only song most people remember from them.

>modest mouse
>post hardcore

Literally the only song from them I heard growing up was Dashboard. Maybe the radio stations in my country just fucking suck tho, I dunno.

oh right, my girlfriend loves that song

this thread made my post hard

The same thing goes with Jimmy Eat World and the song The Middle
Clarity is the pinnacle of emo pop and no one knows about it

It's indie rock with some post-hardcore and midwest emo influences. Even if those songs were all pure post-hardcore (they're not), that's 30 minutes of post-hardcore on the album. Not even half of something you said is a post-hardcore album.

The Moon & Antarctica is better

I don't mean to sound condescending or anything when I say this, but I grew out of this opinion when I turned 16. I think a lot of people did.

Fuck. It turns out I still have a shitty music opinion.

>country music is bad

Wtf? Correct me if I'm wrong but Jimmy Eat World is pretty well known.

i don't know user, music is as subjective as it gets, don't worry about it

I wouldn't say that. You grew to like them after all.

It's true that they're not one hit wonders, they've had plenty of other hits too (Sweetness, Pain) but the album Clarity isn't well known besides the minor hit Lucky Denver Mint

sure they're post-hardcore but they're far from the pinnacle

>MM is post-hardcore

Is this actually a joke or are you really that bad at differentiating genres.

I used to think I hated pop music. Then I realized that I just hate being forced fed the same song over and over + talking to people know nothing beyond the top 40. The actual music is usually passable and often pretty nice. It helps to have put a distance of at least 5 years after the big singles have been taken out of constant rotation.

>Lonesome Crowded West may be the pinnacle of Post-Hardcore

if early modest mouse isn't post-hardcore then it's certainly closely related and heavily inspired by it.
