Best and worst things about this movie?
Best: BDH
Worst: Jimmy Fallon
I was just about to shitpost in this thread.
Be glad I'm above that.
Why don't you tell me what you believe are the best and worst things about this movie then?
Best - Soundtrack and 'that feel'. I got some serious first movie vibes from this, and I loved it.
Worst - That one cunts' secretary/assistant dying a terrible, extremely exaggerated death that she didn't deserve at all. There was no point to it, and it felt very out of place in the movie.
>the assistant's death
imdb had a big problem with that too but I don't get it. Why do people act like she didn't "deserve it" like that's some kind of flaw in the movie? When nature attacks it doesn't go after the bad guys. Nobody cares that Muldoon, one of the coolest dudes in the movie, was mauled to death by raptors in the original movie so why do they give a fuck now?
That score was good though. "As the Jurassic World turns" is a genuinely memorable track.
I cared, I wanted book Muldoon, but yea I didn't give a shit when she died.

Best: BD Wong
Worst: That stupid fucking villain with his stupid fucking plan which made no goddamn sense and acting like a total fucking retard the whole time plus his stupid ass hair and goatee made him look like an ex-military guy fieri fuck that guy and his stupid fucking plan and fuck colin trevarrowro for insulting my intelligence. I swear to god my iq dropped a couple points just because of how shitty that bad guy was
the park owner was a fun character
>we need more teeth
made me cringe
You know animals can be trained right?
The younger kid was cringey all around. I let out an audible sigh in the theater when he started sobbing about their parents getting divorced.
I feel the big problem was that it felt really fucking cartoonish. Haven't seen it since Theaters but it was something like:
>Grabbed by Pterodactyl
>Then grabbed by another Dino
>Then finally swallowed by that Leviathan Dinosaur.
I almost could see that death being a cutaway joke in Family Guy. I don't get the "She didn't deserve it sentiment", it just totally set the tone for the rest of the movie being downright silly which is a shame because I love how almost plausible the first half felt.
Yes bringing back Henry Wu was a great decision and I hope he's just a giant prick for the rest of the series, I'm betting they'll fuck it up though and have him die the same was as Nedry for an epic callback.
The main villain was really stupid.
Everything is worst
She got grabbed by one, then dropped in the water and pecked at before she got eaten. I didn't feel like it was that bad. It felt like a closer look at what she went through, which helps you understand how serious the situation was.
Excuse me
the fat security guard getting eaten by the indominus rex with the camera's framing under the bottom of the car obscuring the top of the screen is the only good part of the movie. it made me jump.
also judy greer flirting with her son at the airport and BDH rubbing poo poo on her face and tits in that deleted scene.
everything else is garbage. it's an indefensibly terrible movie.
You sound very depressed.
You might be right but I just remember the theater just cracking up.
And in one sense yes I do enjoy seeing the Evil Frankstein T-Rex gets its asskicked by the OG T-Rex, but it also just turned into Godzilla and Jurassic Park was just a tadbit better than that.
BEST: nothing
WORST: gyrospheres. what is the wait time for those bad boys? unlimited freedom for no set time? also, what's the liability, I gotta know? Those kids were legit almost crushed multiple times and, judging by the fact that gyrospheres can be ripped in half, I can't imagine they would hold under a 50 ton dinosaur.
I don't think your point about the gyrophere's durability is valid. If you haven't seen the movie in a while and can't remember what happened to it that's fine but don't come into a discussion if you don't know what you're talking about.
It's the fast food of cinema a.ka. completely forgettable
The whole movie was awful. So many goddamn snap zooms, and so many irritating characters.
They have an entire island and lock up the raptors and Indominus in tiny cages.
Fast food is delicious though. I know it's only because of the flavor enhancing chemicals they cram it with but still.
reply to this post and your mother dies in her sleep tonight
the gyrospheres were totally fucked up by that dinosaur.
the line for the gyrospheres was absurd
what's the problem here, pal
The raptors had a large pen but the Indominus I agree. Restricting it to such a cramped space would just make it more irritable and nervous.
The dinosaur that fucked it up was an abnormally violent and powerful carnivore that wasn't supposed to be there. Also why bring up the line again when I didn't address that?
Worst: I don't remember anything
Best: I don't remember anything
oh please. you think that the violent dinosaur's *grip* had more force behind it than the step of a beast weighing 40-60 tons?
not on your life buddy
When every single aspect of a movie is 5/10, there's no best or worst, just a lot of "bleh".
You're implying the chill herbivores in that field were prone to viciously attacking the gyrosheres. Also how long has it been since you've seen it? I must say again if you can't remember what happened clearly you shouldn't be discussing this.
JP>>>world>>>POWERGAP>>Lost World>>>shit>>>>JP3
Prove me wrong.
Worst: Just a remake of the first movie
>world is better than Lost World
Get the fuck outta here. I don't even know where to begin on that. World is better than 3 though.
>viciously attacking
>somehow equivalent to accidentally crushing
hey, mush-for-brains. don't tell me i need to rewatch the movie if you can't even read. do you REMEMBER when they were casually darting in and out of the stampeding herbivores legs? yeah? THAT'S THE LIABILITY. it has nothing to with aggression/intent; it's about the weight of the herbivores.
Have someone read this to you out loud
Have you seen those herbivores? Do you actually believe a stegosaurus or a triceratops could lift their legs up high enough to step on the gyrospheres? Again, how long has it been since you've seen it? Seriously asking because you're missing some important details.
worst - it got the marvel treatment by adding in quips and stupid sexual innuendos so all the normies and their girlfriends could laugh about how their relationship is so similar
best - the first half was great and made me not hate the movie as much as i thought i would
Best: Liked how the movie seemed like a mix between the plots of Jurassic Park and Alien, the movie may not have been 'Movie of the Decade' but it was an enjoyable movie
Also gotta give a shoutout to Blue
Worst: I was disappointed that they didn't have a scene where the Raptors hunt the characters like in JP1, they had that scene in the forest after they turned but I wish the scene was more tense and not a deathmatch between raptors and gun-hoe military personnel
Also fuck anyone that puts JP3 in below the Lost World. JP3 had its flaws but it had enough good moments to make up for it. Hell, the pterodactyl cage scene is one of the best moments in the trilogy
Most animals try to avoid stepping on things that could make them fall over, even in stampedes. But its hard to if the animals are so crowded together.
The Lost World actually felt like a film. JP3 was a flick through and through.
Best: OG t rex shows up at the end
Worst: WEW
Best: Nods to the original didn't feel forced or out of place. That shot that starts in the hotel room and moves out over the park with the reprise of the original theme was comfy.
Worst: 0 meme moments. No Bane, no CIA, no epic dance-off with the bad guy. Nothing.
Best I can do is a 2/10.
You're not wrong, but to me it seemed that JP3 was a better flick than LW was as a movie.
