This probably goes without saying, but Melvins - Houdini
OP here, sorry for the delayed response, and yeah of course. Stag and Houdini are two of my favorite albums, got anything else?
have you listened to The Sword? Check out Warp Riders.
or Dixie Witch? try Into the Sun
The Sword yes, but I have not heard of Dixie Witch, I'll give them a shot
Also some background info on OP, I'm twenty six years old, been listening to Stoner Doom for at least 9 years, if that helps. But I know I must have missed some gems. Also, good call on Dixie Witch, I dig these guys
Also if you dig Dixie Chick, you should check out Lo Pan - Sasquanaut, think you might like them
...
...
Not familiar with either of those albums, I'll give them a look though, thanks!
No problem, they're Doom Metal so you should like them. First one is "Loss - Horizonless" second one is "Lycus - Chasms".
Why does the genre have terrible "illuminati" and "satanic" artwork?
It is Doom metal, so the art matches the style of music, I think there's more Lovecraft influence on the artwork though than satanic
So far of the two song I've listened to, one from each band, I really enjoy this, got anything along the lines of Buried at Sea - Untitled I

Good shit, especially track two.
You just proved you're 12 years old. Nice work.
Sure?
Also not bad, I like it, reminds me kind of Full of Hell when they first started making music
...
Damn, thank you, this is gorgeous
Your welcome, Enjoy!
This is heavy as hell, good fucking riffage, and the vocals kill it
...
Love em! Great taste user!
Church of Misery and Sheavy realeased a split (CD/album?) together

Seriously Bell Witch is killing it in this album

Shameless self insert of one of the most interesting Doom albums ever made by a unfortunately shortlived band. This album combines a (kinda faggy tbqhwyf), awesome vocalist with one of the BEST DRUMMERS I have ever heard. This album deserves a place in doom metal heaven for its glory. I work out to this motherfucker very often.
God bless confessor! \m/
I am familiar with Church of Misery, the whole every song is about a serial killer drew me in, but Sheavy I am not familiar with
weird how you mentioned all the memes but not Corrupted or Conan or Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine
youtube.com
to add, this album also kicks ass
...
Holy shit dude, I just got done with the first song, yeah absolutely right on how unique this band is. The vocals are beautiful, and that drummer is insane. Yeah I would put it in there with other amazing Doom metal albums for different they are and how well they do it, at least so far in listening.
I told you dude! This shit is crazzzzyyyy!
I'm sorry what? I love Conan, except the last album, but is VYGR, Ufomammut, and YOB apart of the memes?
Those time changes he's doing shouldn't be possible with Doom, and he's killing kt
This little gem was possible because an autist friend of mine recommended it to me since I'm also into math rock.
MAKE THIS Sup ForumsCORE
I dont even know how to play any instrument, but this album alone makes me want to make my own doom/prog band like them.
This is awesome, Black Sabbath worship is the only worship we should practice
Also, OP here, thank you all for your suggestions, so far they have all be beyond my expectations!

Drummer Steve Shelton explaining how he played in the album.
That'd be a tough one, I play bass, I played bass in a black metal band, and then in a Doom Drone band, other than that band, the most progressive Doom gets is having a female vocalist
I'm only 30 seconds in, and I'm sold already, Mongolian throat singing is my fetish, it's why I love the band Bong
And it is a blackened Doom band, I'm all in
I love this album. One of the few times I've listened to an album solely because the album art is cool as fuck and wasn't let down.
Honestly this, Condemned was probably the best that doom could ever get to progressive. And too bad they split, Steve is still a beast, but Stevie the androgynous vocalist is in China now. The last album they pulled off this year was a steaming pile of shit. They lost the magic they had. damn shame, they could have been the next big thing.
I love it too, straight up ear candy

My two favorite instrumental stoner doom albums i've heard:
Beast in the Field - Sacred Above, Sacred Below (fav song is altar made of red earth, definitely check that track out)
youtube.com
Temple - On the Steps of the Temple (fav song is probably the first one)
tempelofficial.bandcamp.com
Beast in the field makes me upset to think about though because i live very near their hometown and yet never saw them live before they broke up.
One time I saw a guy and complimented his Beast in the Field shirt, he was so awkward about my compliment that it later occurred to me he might actually have been in the band and I think he was possibly their guitarist.
my fave stoner album of all time but never seen it posted
Weird, I love that album, it's a hard thing to try to say that is strictly Stoner I guess, it is really bluesy at times
I don't know what these dudes are, but I've been jammin them lately
Didn't really care for Beast in the Field, but I did really enjoy Tempe, if you like Stoner Doom instrumental music, I highly suggest Bongripper youtu.be
I would say these guys are epic Doom, either way, they are good shit
For sure and after watching that interview, Steve is incredible and I hope he goes further as an artist,. I cannot speak to the new album as I haven't listened to it, I'm still on the first and love it so far.
...
Nice, a good addition to the sort of weird portion of Doom, fantastic orchestration in this album

This band is one of the heaviest, slow moving bands I've ever listened to. Caught them live one their Ritual Abuse album, listening to their dying screeches on top of impending Doom, is art.
Absolutely their best album. The Usher is just crushing and Cosey Mo is brutal as fuck. There isn't a band like them.
Albumwise, I agree. For songs, it's a toss up between Cosey Mo and Beneath the Crown imo. I had the good fortune of seeing them with Wovenhand a couple months ago. One of the violinists wasn't on tour with them, but the show was still killer.
I'll recommend this one too. Blackened doom kind of stuff, pretty dirty, but has some great melodies and side B (Decedere) has some kind of female operatic singing. Pretty dismal.
Whoops, meant to respond to not myself.
You're good brother, can you send me a link to one of their songs
OP here, I just finished their Mirror Reaper album, and it was phenomenal. A masterpiece of Doom, and I'm so glad you showed this to me. Bless you sir.
Sure thing.
Thank you, be back shortly after I've listened to most of the song
loweryourhead.bandcamp.com
Shoulda linked here really. Sounds a lot better
I'm seven minutes through the song, and this is fucking great, the southern banjo intro into the blackened Doom riff is perfect
This song kills 70% of Americans
This kills everything, including single-cell organisms.
But yeah, I'm listening to Bell Witch for the first time and they remind me a lot of Hell, little less depressing though imo.
I got one for ya
