How long do you have to drive to get to a nice beach in your country?
In my country, 45 mins by car. Even a bit less without traffic.

It became a "sensation" and popular all over the country and the world around 2010, and then it became very polluted, very quickly, so the government decided to close it down
indefinitely while restoration last, but as the budget cuts have been deep everywhere, I doubt it will be open to the public anytime soon.
