How do I beat match tempos manually? Like if I have a track at 124bpm and 126bpm and I'm listening to one in my headphones and moving the tempo slider. Is there some technique to get them perfectly aligned? I'm usually half a bpm off and I can't get closer.
you have to make estimations with the pitch fader, like too slow then too fast then too slow etc and you shorten the range in between over time. search for pitch riding on youtube or something, that's how it's called

not sure if I get what you mean but if you don't use sync they're never perfectly aligned, they're always drifting by a small amount and the dj is correcting it before you notice. Precision comes with practice
