Was his betrayal the most forced shit in the history of forced shit?

Was his betrayal the most forced shit in the history of forced shit?

Did they really need a villain twist THAT bad and also a way for Anna to avoid having to make an adult decision like choosing between two love interests?

I wanted to punch every fucker in the theater who gasped when he revealed himself, and then cheered when Anna punched him into the water.

Also fuck the magic rock trolls.

God what a piece of hot asinine garbage.

They turned him into a villain so Elsa wasn't the bad guy. It was so shit. When Elsa froze the land over he was helping and giving out free stuff and then an hour and six-teen minutes into the movie he becomes an evil white male. Fucking awful.

Also those fucking trolls. They appear two times in the movie.

First time to heal Anna.
Second time to say they can't heal Anna.

That's it. Also what the fuck healed Anna in the end?

EVIL
WHITE
MALE

Thanks Disney.

Disney has a knack for unnecessary villains.

See Wreck It Ralph.

that was necessary tho

Destroy it Derrick was way better though

I've never watched this kid's flick but I think Anna is really qt (better than that blonde slut)
can people post pictures of her?

Disney movies are good but they are not great since they don't have consequences
like little mermaid, Ariel doesn't need to face the consequences of her dumb decisions since there is Ursula as a scape goat
In pixar movies even if there is a villain the characters have to deal with the consequences since they are flawed

it was love. "only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart". anna stands in the way to defend elsa from being killed by hans.

and then elsa is all like "Love? WELL SHIT, WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY SO?!" and suddenly has control over all her powers and fixes everything just like that. fucking bullshit it is.

Hans was shoehorned in as the villain. The whole movie has shit pacing and character building because the script went through rewrite after rewrite.

Hans could've killed Anna as soon as she made him temporary ruler of Arendelle and saved himself the convolution. The throne would've defaulted to him and Elsa would've never come back.

Dinsey is obsessed with villain twists nowadays, they did it in Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia.

What was the point of Elsa's epic singing and building her ice palace? She abandoned that shit quickly.

I said this before, but I watched this when I had strep throat so I was just done with everything. But for real I literally thought this was the first Disney movie that didn't have an outright bad person in the movie and she was going to have to choose between them.

Then out of nowhere in the last 2 minutes of the movie they just make him bad because he wants to rule or some shit. I thought it was dumb.

Honestly speaking I thought it was going to be Anna finally getting tired of Elsa's shit and them going at it in the next movie.

>Also fuck the magic rock trolls.

>that one female troll grabs Kristoff and Sven when they're young and says "you're cute, I'm gonna keep you"
>we then discover they've lived with the trolls ever since

Only Disney could turn child abduction into a punchline and get away with it

The whole movie was a vessel for "Let It Go". Elsa was supposed to be a villain, more in line with Hans Christian Andersen's original story. But then when Let It Go was written the producers thought "shit, we can sell this" and changed the entire story to accommodate that song.

No it wasn't.

I prefer the porn parody Rape-It Randy.

the dyke sister was originally supposed to be the villain but they changed it

yes it was and vanellope still a glitch anyway

No it wasn't.

yes it was fuck off

No it wasn't.

yes it was

It wasn't. I'm sorry user but saying something doesn't make it so.

just saying it wasn't don't make so it wasn't too.

It was. I'm sorry user but saying something doesn't make it so.

>I know you are but what am I

Now you're just being childish user, although not unexpected. Most Sup Forums posters revert to their childhood go-to responses when confronted.

>they did it in Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia.

Another reason Moana is better.

You don't think it be like it is but it do.

You could say the same shit about Dr. Manhattan's glass palace.

The point is to establish that the character in question could very easily use their skills selfishly to better their own lives with no regard for anyone else. But that even the palace of ice doesn't compare to her sister's love.

His betrayal isn't entirely out of left field. Anna was a dumb girl who fell for the first penis that passed through the door without knowing him that well. Listen to the song Love is an Open Door and you can see him pretending to agree with everything Anna says.
>We finish each others--
>Sandwiches.
>That's what I was going to say.
He played her subtlety enough that she was easily duped by his demeanor. It was actually a competent twist since it did catch the audience off guard.

My only issue with him is that they played him off as an unemotional monster.

At the very least, they could have made him someone sympathetic who had feelings for Anna, but ultimately desires power more.

this song is actually fucking great
>Hans: You
>Anna: and I
>both: are just meant to be

Well, more in line with the story it's based on, she was supposed to be during early development of the movie.

Hans wasn't a bad guy. He's up there with Sollidus Snake on the "didn't do anything" scale.

Moana still had a villain twist, though. They just did it backwards.

>Hans wasn't a bad guy
Yes, he was. He literally says "If only someone could ever love you" and then leaves Anna to die.
Shitting all over Anna was completely unnecessary to his goals. That part happened not because it needed to, but because he wanted to.

If it was just plain ambivalence, then he'd be DINDU NUFFIN. But he's Disney Villain to the core for that scene alone. Which is precisely what the animators were going for.

Which is practically revolutionary given Disney's obsession with formula and painting by numbers.

i thought his speech was perfect desu. i just want to know why him and kylo dont get along

Nigga, it's the difference between writing A=B vs B=A.

The only sense that it's revolutionary is that you are literally using the same formula, but you turned it around.

>i just want to know why him and kylo dont get along

I suppose they're both owned by Disney, nothing is stopping a crossover.

>Hans was a villain all along
Then why would he do this face towards Anna when no one was looking?

It's a story about cute girls who are royalty and one of them is magic. Western weebshit. The plot will never be the satisfying part of the flick. Just watch the qt girls be qt and pick a waifu and call the other a whore on a burmese shadow puppet forum.

Sometimes I forget the average tv poster is a genuine retard.

You have to read between the lines for the essence of the story. Anna was a hot young piece of ass princess. Hans definitely fucked her brains out before betraying her; they just couldn't expound on that because it's a kids movie.

When I first saw the concept trailer I was hype
But then a year passes and they say they've done rewrite and that's when the doubt set in.

The final trailers come out and it just wasn't the Snow Queen and now the girl is a victim and a character change for hans that wasn't even HINTED in the film, because Disney forgot to write it in.
I want the original version of the film.

The one scene where it stands out is when Hans and Anna run into each other with the boat. Once she runs off and no ones looking at him he looks at her with that "Disney love glance". It's just clear Disney made changes and forgot to change some scenes they already finished.

M8 you read my mind That's the one I'm thinking off

No, that would be the faggot dog fucker in Up

I saw this film yesterday and loved it, was a fun watch and Moana a qt

At least the "villain" wasn't some contrived shit.
It was there in the background of the story and served as a final hurdle in their journey. I actually enjoyed the twist.

The troll says he can easily heal a frozen mind, but a frozen heart can only be healed by an act of true love.

Sven didn't have parents, I assume.

was that character a jew?

>those subtle derp eyes

I love Hans, and he was outright cold in that scene.

I was just meming X didn't do anything wrong.

Are you literally too retarded to follow a Disney movie?

Goddamnit, stop this.

The point of that wasn't that it was foreshadowing he was evil, just that they were both rushing into it without thinking and ignoring the very real obstacles.
It's one of the reasons the villain twist is so left field, because everything about the film up to that point was showing it was going to be about what happened when their naivety hit a wall they couldn't ignore
