Your stuff is very well produced although a bit too "EDM" for my taste. I really liked Banana Slug though, especially the verses before all the effects come in remind me of a Hench / Dubstar track from like 2012.
I can enjoy most of what you're doing with this, although I have an issue with a lot of the tracks sounding quite underdeveloped and maybe on the simpler side of things, and although that's not a bad thing per say, I'm certain you could put more intent or a focused effort into something, maybe. I do like what you're doing with this, though. (P.S, I wish you would support some dudes in this thread by at least recommending some.)
I love the drones you've developed here, they're quite relaxed and not as exactly lazy as some people just plugging some stuff into audacity and calling it ambient or drone music. There's certainly a lot of uniqueness in this, despite the overwhelming amount of "ambient" music being created in today's technological society and easily accessible audio technology. (P.S, I would also wish for you to plug some other dudes in this thread or give feedback.)
This is pretty cool, I was interested in this as you coined it as "moonwave." Certainly an interesting name, and I'd say it somewhat represents the music here pretty well. I like the idea of this somewhat synthwave influenced music with a more untraditional but impressive approach, it lacks that exact (and dull) clean production a lot of boring synthwave projects utilize, with a focus on developing the tracks more than a huge amount uninspired "80s throwback" crap. I love the dissonance used in this stuff, it's quite a cool and different approach. (P.S, it would be great if you gave some feedback to others in this thread!)
This is just great. I like the progression of the track and more minimal approach to things at first, and the development into what seems at first a chaotic mess, is more like the intent of Autechre's (later) music, with the complexity playing a large role here. I greatly appreciate this stuff dude. I'll be following you.
Rest of the songs released on new years day because why not. It suddenly makes it more valuable to me and you. This album is really a dream come true to me. It's just sad that it's made by me so I cant enjoy it as much as I would if I just found it
Wasn't sold on the flow at first, but it grew on me, and the production is decent. I was already following you but missed this, sounds like professional work.
Am Fear Liath Mòr is the name of a presence or creature which is said to haunt the summit and passes of Ben Macdui, the highest peak of the Cairngorms and the second highest peak in Scotland (and also in the British Isles).Although there have been many purported encounters with Am Fear Liath Mòr, few eyewitnesses have seen the creature. Those who have describe it as an extremely tall figure covered with short hair, or as an unseen presence that causes uneasy feelings in people who climb the mountain.
This year has been rough, for everyone.
I spent the last year on my own, in a village of 400 people as close to where this supposed thing is. That unseen presence that causes uneasy feelings has been hanging over me for the full year. The album was made under that feeling. It is a 23 track, 86 minute behemoth, encompassing HEALTH like noise, psychedelic folk, krautrock, Boards of Canada beats, old school east coast Hip-Hop, samples from Keith Jarrett, Prince and Fugazi, one direct John carpenter homage/ripoff and guitars twisted and distorted beyond recognition. It is the best music I have ever made. I hope you listen to it and enjoy it. I promise there will at least be one track on here you like.
