Who's the girl in this video?

What is the worst metal album of 2017?

redditors love this band so much they had to ban discussion of them from being spammed

MANOWAR MANOWAR LIVING ON THE ROAD

I love both iterations of the band, except for that last album where Fabio from Rhapsody of Fire does the vocals.

Hansi saves this album from being complete garbage.

...

i wonder how brazilians managed to make so much sucess

SCREAM
BLOODY
GORE

SCREEEEAAAAAM
BLOOOODYYYYYY
GOOOOOOOOREE

...

How do you guys like this?

RIDERS OF THE STORM

nu-male band

You fell for the meme

jimmy nu-tron is a pretty cool guy.

tru-males and nu-males alike could learn from him.

I fell ya. Having the songs be the exact name is pretty pretentious.

Alone again on Saturday night? God you're pathetic

What are some other albums like this? The main melodeath bands seem to be missing something that Shylmagoghnar has, but I don't know what.

WHEN WERE IN TOWN, SPEAKERS EXPLODE

H. fuck bergtatt

>melodeath

I've had a bit of an argument with a coworker about what counts as evil riffs. He mentioned Dissection's guitar leads, and I said that there was way nastier-sounding riffs out there, to which he politely disagreed. And he knows about war metal, bestial norsecore, dissonant orthoblack, caverncore, all that shit. And he's a big fan of Inquisition which has much nastier riffs in my opinion.

So my question is: Am I correct in my assessment, or are some of Dissection's riffs really THAT seething with hatred and stuff?

I feel like I'm taking grazy pills here

Dissection riffs are about as evil as melodic death riffs
fucking tbdm write more evil-sounding riffs

Bathory became shitty when they started producing "Viking Metal".

If I Could Kill Myself - Ballad of the Broken

mastodon - emperor of sand

kill yourself
or no
you will never go to valhalla soyboy
I enjoyed this album alot, even though I know it's nu-male bait

leave the hall

not even half as good as desperate dreams.

Return to the soy fields

>what I got
>cartoon child porn for kids without needless heterosexuality
sounds about right

Dissection is about as evil as "menacing winter" BGMs in old movies

>implying you don't have a guilty pleasure

Looking for crossover that leans more towards punk than metal, like a lot of the New York Hardcore bands.

maybe this mutantscum.bandcamp.com/

>get into post-punk recently
>listen to this again

Holy shit this is super post-punk influenced.

I'm sorry lemmy, I failed you

wut

actually this

youtu.be/wzh0sVouUcU

emperor of sand is the most disappointing album of the year
cold dark place was pretty dece though

What is the /metal/ concensus on Deceased?

What are some worth listening Heavy Metals we had this year? I personally don't want to dig in this pile of shit but I like cheese and fun like Adrenaline Rush

New Acid Witch or new Danzig

EXISTENCE FADING
INTO ASHES
PILE THOSE BODIES
TO INFERNAL
DEEEEAAAAATTTHHHHHH

I've been gambling, Lemmy. You'd be proud

unironically the best motorhead album

God-tier, underappreciated, unique mix of death, thrash and trad. Supernatural Addiction is my favorite, closely followed by Surreral Overdose.
GHOSTLY WHITE WHEN
youtube.com/watch?v=VDXlgb-p-qg

ONE WORLD
NEW ORDER
ILLUMINATI IS MACHINE

I MAKE LOVE TO MOUNTAIN LIONS

THROUGH MAN'S EXISTENCE

DUDUN DU DU N DUDUDUDU

FUCK this album is fucking sick. Especially as a fan of 40k. Incredibly underrated.

>bolt thrower
>underrated

Kinda wished more hardcore punk bands mixed metal type stuff into their music more often but its probably for the best keep to keep the genres (somewhat) apart, as the scenes dont get alone very well.

youtube.com/watch?v=2DVLeO3SQyU

hey lads can anyone give me a quick rundown on most relevant/best releases this year? The only albums that i listened to from this year were mirror reaper and pic

...

idk for me you just sound like a trendy faggot that likes anything that his friends like, hopping from genre to genre like a fucking imbecile

no offense tho, theese albums are fine

>punx trying to play metal
if you ask me there is no shortage of these bands.
you only need to know where to look.

Which one should I get?

Rotting Christ's 2013 album
the new Ruins of Beverast
Cobalt's first 3 albums

Shame they're now defunct...

the helloween and the heath one look awful
so, wich album do you like the most, vol4 or batlord?

get batlord

Get volume 4

as long as it means i dont get another 20 minute closer of the same three notes, I'll live with it

Altar of Plagues discog

batlord is great but the back is shit

Thanks, I'll check those out!

You're literally projecting. Only a couple people I know like metal, and they're both thrash/prog fans. Your "genre hopping" accusation is fucking childish

Is burzum good?

That's what bothers me. Vol 4. has the tracklisting on the back.
