Jesus Christ I've seen better acting in porn

They should stop casting british people. Or make them speak with a neutral accent, like Christian Bale does

She's a feisty one ain't she?

The fuck is wrong with her mouth

She's so tiny. I could totally rape her if I got her alone.

My penis isn't inside of it.

The scene will probably look better during one of the peaks in the movie. Some of the best scenes fall flat when taken out of context of the film

ayyy mano we gotta get out of the gun business esse

She's part squirrel.

Agreed. I'll see it anyways. Don't want to look like a sperg by saying it's shit IRL.

>crowd murmuring approval too early

yes it does and i havent watched the clip

shame

Star Wars has always been an American/British product though.
Literally half the cast and production team have been Brits

>An African women wearing Native African clothing
KEK

What annoys me about Disney's Star Wars is that it doesnt feel like it is taking place in a galaxy far far away.

>John Boyega acts like a guy in an American street
>Episode 7's ending where Rey finds Luke is filmed on an actual real location on Earth instead of building a set and making it look Alien like related

Seriously, Lucas knew how to make all his Star Wars films feel strange and not from Earth. Hell the way the charactere spoke in Phantom Menace actually made me feel like I was watching a group of Aliens discuss politics

Btw Rogue One actor Riz Ahmed doesnt like how Disney is handling things so dont bully him

>1 second in
>black person

>They tried to fit too much into the first part of a heavily edited movie

JUST

>Jimmy Smith
I can't hate lads

ooh, feisty lil' thang

It's impossible for a woman to give an inspiring speech. No matter what they say I just tune out. Meanwhile men can make a faggy feminist speech sound pretty compelling if they have gusto.

>Suicide Squad in space

Its ok, I'm not a contrarian because I am over the age of 17.

"user, please shut up"

>flashbacks are shown of the clone wars with battles from attack of the clones with superb CGI
I'd love if Disney did this but they are too much of nostalgia cucks to use anything from the prequels

>posts picture of a white women
...okay

Anyone that pays to watch this propoganda laden feminist power-fantasy should renounce their manhood

Why does this speech make me think of Trump? I suppose that is Disney's plan. Secretly force the star wars politics to make lefties relate to real life

To be fair, she's bossing everyone around while they do the heavy/dangerous work. She and Mon Mothma both

youtube.com/watch?v=Kj08Jwp-2q0

>black woman and woman do all the talking
>men stand around like scared cucks contributing nothing

Remember that her character is supposed to be a hardened badass.

>>Seriously, Lucas knew how to make all his Star Wars films feel strange and not from Earth
>desert planet
>jungle planet
>snow planet
>swamp planet
????

How come the prequels had such variety of CGI quality? Why weren't they fucking consistent with it? There are moments when it's good and then you have medium-low graphics like your pic and then shit like that PS2 Gungan.

>Normal plain desert planet
>Jungle planet with pyramids
>Snow planet
>Swamp planet
>Gas planet with a huge city in it
>Forest planet
>Martian-like desert planet with termite structures
>Jungle planet with fuckhuge trees and Chinese rock formations
>Earth-like planet with swamps, plains and cities
>Skyscrapper planet
>Sea planet with cities in it
>Sinkhole planet

And that's only mentioning the planets that appeared more than a minute.

I want to fuck this squirrel

Jesus Christ how fucking awful can a movie get.

Time to abandon ship and leave this movie to it's fate.

oh dear.

i think ill give this a pass

>If we give white men this much power, what chance do we have?
Seriously, Disney, stop bringing political bullshit into this

Well now I'm erect

youtu.be/Q5zO9jWkpoM
>"We have diversity!"
Seriously..?

It's good that they're maintaining Lucas' style of stilted dialogue

>Just, like, fix it, you dumb men, like, gosh!

Who cast this movie anyway and decided to cast a chipmunk in place of a woman who could conceivably inspire and intimidate somebody?

tbf it's more about the wildlife and population that the setting.

Tatooine is just a desert but it has giant vagina monsters in the ground and jawas and sand people.
Dagoba has those giant batlike things and the monster under water. And Yoda (I thought he belonged there, he made a good fit.)

The planet at the end of 7 doesn't have this characteristic, but we've only seen one minute.

I bet the quipbot says something quippy to lighten the mood once she's done

It's still pretty dumb though. I really can't remember any rousing speeches from the whole of OT and I doubt there were any.

Fucking space Taliban

It's been almost a year and I still haven't seen the force awakens.

Modern star wars is fucking dreck, get back to me when the leads aren't british women with strange teeth.

Jones looks more like she should be selling cookies than a hardened rebel leader, I can't believe we had something like Rogue Squadren years ago and this is the best modern studios could come up with.... some pithy tiny split arse no one gives a fuck about in the lead.

Kylo Ren is the best Star Wars character ever. It's a massive letdown that we didn't get to seem his time in Luke's Jedi Order. George Lucas wouldn't have skipped over it. He'd probably use the best CGI ever to fake a young Mark Hamil.

>Christian Bale
>neutral accent

American accents are not 'neutral'. They're terribly obvious and occasionally annoying.
There's nothing neutral about Bale's accent. He's just very good at sounding American.

Guess I'll pirate it.

is that senator Organa?

>not a single alien in that shot
Really makes you feel like you're in another galaxy :^)

>The planet at the end of 7 doesn't have this characteristic, but we've only seen one minute.

Yes it has, its fauna is composed by thousands of seagulls thrown from their cliffs by the recording helicopters.

>implying dirty aliens deserve a say in running the galaxy

Yes, also Leia has been confirmed for the movie.

Is the Rebellion... human supremacists ? and/does racist Diney that a proud black woman and asians stand for """aliens""" ? OMG

does racist disney think

>>Eh, what's up doc?

Why the fuck didn't they cast Tom Hardy? Imagine him going up against Vader

american english is neutral. people learn american in schools in other countries, they don't learn "british" ISNT THAT RIGHT GUVNAH Oi Oi Oi MATE

Thunda uhuhuhuhuuhuhuhuhhhhhh

They learn English, you twatstick.

Not 'American English'. Not 'British English'. They learn 'English'.

Colloquialisms have nothing to do with accent, and the fact still remains that an American accent is exactly that, a regional form of speaking that is in no conceivable way some sort of base standard method of pronunciation for the English language.

...

I got cancer

i'm trying to think of one that's good. i liked galadriel's in the two towers but that was more of a monologue.

>hey everybody, i'm the strong womyn you need to hear me!

Deep breathes Sup Forums.

A positive attitude.

Repeat after me:

Rogue One will be okay
Rogue One will be okay
I will enjoy the film
Rogue One will be okay

LOOK OUT RADICAL OPINION COMING THROUGH MAKE WAY

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the majority of highly fluent English speakers in places like Belgium and Denmark who have Anglosphere accents have distinctly English RP accents.

did you see the trailer where the at-at flinched like a hurt dog? that made me cringe hard.

Literally everything you put is wrong, many euros learn distinctly British english in school from a young age

t.Scandanavian

...fuck you, now I want to see that, and know I won't outside a fucking comic or novel, and if we do it'll be kept vague to seem 'legendary' or some shit.

Agree about Kylo.

On topic, I have a bad feeling about this movie. That said, I'm off to see it with a few friends, because... well it's not like my life is so full I can't take an evening to enjoy the Empire and it's shit made up with modern CGI and tech.

>implying Tatooine, Yavin, Hoth, and Endor exteriors were filmed on sets

Tom Hardy would try to suck Vader's Kentucky fried cock.

>we need more diversity
>less aliens than ever

The more they distance themselves from the plebquels, the better. Can't wait for Disney to de-canonize and reboot them.

Oh I see it now.

>WHERES BANE
Why the fuck is this guy in this movie

MINORITIES LOL

Bail looks 200% done with this shit

BAIL?

Jimmy Smits, Leias adoptive father, is in OPs video nigger.

I'm glad he's got a white uniform, so we know who the real villains are.

Why is Jimmy Smith in this movie?

Any white male that pays money to see this feminist anti-white garbage should kill themselves.
Males in general should at least think about killing themselves.

MUH SAMCROW, ESSE MANO PIPELINE BLACK AND BROWN

Anyone else realize the irony that this "diverse cast" isn't diverse at all because it's all fucking humans

I want to see aliens in my fucking star wars

Star Wars is for manchildren.
Of course it looks terrible.

But I thought Sup Forums was for manchildren too?

How much of the "women should be subjugated and anyone who isn't a white male should be cleansed" here is sarcastic?

What a shitty casting choice for fucking KYLE KATARN

The vast majority, I should hope.

That said, there is a lot of bitterness at being demonized as some port of racist homophobic scumbag for being white these days, thus the Trump victory and Brexit votes, when you pair that climate with the loss of more and more lower class jobs and such.

Saying that black people are subhuman monkeys who don't deserve a high quality of life _IS_ racist. Even if you do it because some black people say they hate white people.

Trying to excuse it by saying 'its just locker room talk' does not help.

Imagine this: What if in 2008 we found an old audio recording from the 90's of Obama saying "Yeah, man, FUCK the police. I can't stand white people." and his 'apology' was to say "Im sorry but, it was just street talk." and everyone was OK with that and voted for him anyways.

I'm a "normie" when it comes to Star Wars and I'm far more excited for Rogue One than I ever was for TFA.

This actually looks like a fun experience to watch in IMAX. Whereas TFA just looked like a rehash and nostalgia nod from the first teaser.

>demonized as some port of racist homophobic scumbag
I mean, you would probably try to demonize him as some sort of racist scumbag.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Some of the hate towards white people has be to coming from a place of petty vengeance. Like, "Oh yeah, White People, how do YOU like being marginalized and stereotyped?" which if obviously not OK but definitely understandable. Especially if you consider the response from white people, it kind of helps show that we are all the same.

TFA was a rehash and nostalgia nod. Its basically just a reskin of New Hope.

But the thing is, New Hope is a well made fun movie. So a remake that's also well made is exciting.
But it does put some pressure on the upcoming films to stand on their own.

>Some of the hate towards white people has be to coming from a place of petty vengeance. Like, "Oh yeah, White People, how do YOU like being marginalized and stereotyped?" which if obviously not OK but definitely understandable

This is what is slowly coming to light now. That ACTUAL bigotry, sexism and racism is now being used by people to combat PERCEIVED bigotry, sexism and racism.

It's true, go in it's gonna be fun! New ATATs! I'm... I'm not even being sarcastic. I need new ATATs

They had to strike a really fine balance between old and new to prove that they understand what makes Star Wars good and want to leverage that to expand the franchise in a good way.

It wouldn't be good to completely shut out the nostalgia. But at the same time, it can't just be a 90 minute wank of remembering good old times.

I think TFA really does show that they respect and understand what they are working with but also know that the new movies have to stand on their own legs.
