My impression of weeaboo conventions is that they are microcosms of otaku culture. So you'll get anime, games, idols.
Do you really get contemporary music (non-anime), literature, and fashion? It seems like non-otaku stuff have no chance at localization, so there would be no market for it outside of Japan.
