Who are your favorite singers and rappers purely based on their voice Sup Forums? I don't necessarily mean the best but the ones who give you warm feelings inside or seem like old friends because of their vocal tone

Definitely Elvis, best vocal tone of all fucking time. His voice was magic but those old studios he recorded in were just the icing on the cake. He truly had a golden voice

The OP wasn't asking which were "good" at singing.

He was asking which ones you like the voice of.

I'm not that poster (though I have him on my list too) but Kanye's manner of singing/rapping feel more "real" to me than most other artists.

Not sure quite how to explain what I mean, but I guess you can more easily hear his emotion behind the delivery.
Which is something I think he's extremely good at doing.

mc ride

sssss

Pac, Eminem, Tech N9ne, KRS, Slaine, Talib Kweli and obviously DMX.

It's Jeff Mangum you bell

I'm dyslexic so I'm not surprised that fact has eluded me until this point.

Ruby from Suicideboys

Just posted this in another thread but Jesus Christ I will never not get chills from Roy Orbison

No one sounds like that. People can try to sound like Elvis and Bob Dylan or John Lennon, but I'm pretty sure no one will ever sound like Orbison again
