>I need a corporate music review platform to tell me how to think about music

Music is dead.

>music is dead

I;m not saying I turn to them, a review made me respect them. That's what I wanna know

It is, it's just corporate commercialism now, and special snowflakes that are too faggoty and nervous to make a worthwhile opinion about the music they listen to.

So they listen to awful music like Kanye west, shat straight from the ass of the industry.

a group of monkeys typing on a typewriter will eventually write a coherent sentence.

kys yourself

>a review made me respect them
So you admit you're a fucking braindead sheep that can be trained to like corporate feces?
Love the honesty.

lol

So, for everyone who doesn't read reviews, how do you find out about music? Hopefully not from Sup Forums, considering everyone here just filters and exaggerates reviewers' opinions

>how do you find out about music
I go to venues, I see whatever band plays.
Or I go through youtubes, sharethreads, interviews of artists I like.

I don't just let pitchforks stab me up the asshole.

i make my own
no you can't listen

>Implying that I respect Pitchfork.

>Hopefully not from Sup Forums
I never understand this, I've found some great stuff in sharethreads and /noise/. Aside from that record label digging on discogs.

>how do you find out about music?
Half from Sup Forums albums that have nice looking colours, half from indie bands my father keeps discovering on an alternativel magazine of our country, half from memes of the old days, and half by pure chance like commercials to bands that are coming to festivals or perfume commercials or stuff like that

Go to record stores around my neighborhood, find stuff at Goodwill, listen to tapes/CDs in libraries, etc.

reminder that pitchfork is rollingstone tier

None. But the MBDTF review made me respect my own judgement. I was 17 at that point and still relied on charts & reviews etc. That was the turning point where I realised critic culture and the pre-established rise and fall path of artists is a complete meme that only brainlets cling to

Daft Punk's Discovery got 6.4 though

"It's the corporaaations mannnn"

just shut up and go back to listening to your post-avant-garde rainforrest field recordings faggot

>post-avant-garde rainforrest field recordings
