Turks named their country after a bird

Turks named their country after a bird.
>A
>FUCKING
>BIRD
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>Peru means turkey in brazillian

Peru also means DICK.

And Bhutan (Butão) means ASSHOLE.

>SHART
>IN
>MART

It's actually the other way round. The bird was named after the country because they resembled guineafowl that had to be imported from Turkey and would sometimes be called "turkeyfowl". When the settlers first saw them they started referring to them as "Indian turkeyfowl" and that eventually shortened to turkey.

your country is literally called united states

>POO
>IN
>LOO

aaannnd?

well call india "turkey"

...

This animal is called Turkey in English, Peru in Portuguese and India in French

What's up with that?

"Индeйкa" (In-deh-ee-kah). May sounds like funny mistake in "Indian girl" (In-dee-ahn-ka) (India and Americas)

What a fugly woman.

>Sees flag.

It's because of another bird that looks similar called the helmeted guinea fowl.

Hindi also means turkey in our language. Hindistan is India.

Ah, yes... India, the golden cradle of beautiful women. All hail.

Turkey is called hindi (or slightly different variations of hindi) in most languages

English is dumb

>Anglos name the bird after Turkey
>Turks name the bird after India
It would be hella fricken ep*c if Indians named it after England or something

>Amis didn't name their country at all

>His country was named after a takeaway
