I don't know what can be considered a scene in Sacramento. All we have here are Deftones, Death Grips, and Cake. And Smosh.

Texas Blues

>New London
bad punk

folklore

Where I live it's shitty indie rock and a punk scene that's almost dead.

>Dutch hip-hop
Not great but there are some good underground artists breaking through though

Wasn't grunge born in all the shit cities with 50 people outside of seattle (as washington is basically nothing) and seattle is just the only place that they could make enough money off shows to buy dinner? The Melvins and Nirvana came from aberdeen

>Milwaukee dad rock
>Milwaukee Pavement worship

Our hip-hop scene is getting impressive, though.

South Carolina country
I mean, it's alright

>Atlanta
Trap capital of the world, one of the biggest music cities in the country rn

Massachusetts - Classical, Folk, indie-rock

>Rome
Mainly indie folk/folk punk and some really bad hip hop

living in maine, there is no music scene

Chicago...
The Smashing Pumpkins
Alkaline Trio
Veil of Maya
I don't listen to Chance the Rapper but he's famous
Styx?

where i live now is London so that's kinda cheating

i've lived in oxfordshire and liverpool, so i guess twee pop, shoegaze and merseybeat. also shitty bands that weren't really from a local music scene, like supergrass or radiohead

Schlager

i'd say the most famous is gothenburg melodeath, but indie pop is big as well

sacramento has tales of terror and trash talk

I live in Massachusetts and there's a Zach Hill with dreads who plays guitar youtube.com/watch?v=xOjyXDAWD4k

Also Tomoko a cute

Crappy folk music, crappy Schlager music, crappy German Hip Hop and crappy German rap

Stockholm hm2core and Swedish d-beat are both better than melodeaf

Here in the South-West of France we have pic related, and a few folk metal and black metal bands. Traditional folk too.

All scenes are merging due to the internet. The scene is the internet, then you blow up and go to NYC/big city to fraternize with other musicians that made it

Or if you are rich you go to one of those cities and bum around until you can latch onto momentum of a successful band

Oh and Gojira of course
