honestly it depends, because one has to understand vaporwave and where it comes from in order to fully appreciate it. and there is a lot of meme vaporwave out there that isn't good music, mostly based on vektroid shit.
it was popularized as a meme, so of course most of it is trash, but james ferraro and dan lopatin are good exampled of what can be made with vaporwave. vaporwave isn't just simple 90's nostalgia.
