Great winter-night album, almost as good as 808s
I always associate The Glow pt. 2 with fall
Wouldn't that be spring music? Or pre-summer music?

The National really doesn't get the credit for being one of the most consistently great rock acts of all time

good shit
This so much, I've never understood what was summery about it. It evokes cold weather and being tucked away from the chill while it's snowing.
>Song title has the word summer = summer album
>Song title has the word winter = winter album
i associate the actual venue (MPP) with summer, but only bc i only went there during the summer time.

This is fall you dolt
Not only consistent, they also improve so much. It kinda feels like all of their albums are the same, but all of them show their improvement in some way. Just with recent ones: High Violet with the textures, TWFM with best lyrics they have had on an album consistently, SWB they mixed so well that all of their older albums sound much less "National" in comparison somehow, Matt's voice just really shines on it.
love this one
This feels very wintery to me
Afaik their second album is also decently praised, good pick btw
This is the biggest summer album of all time what are you talking about.
Embodiment of Fall my nigger what are you talking about?

All 3 albums very wintery. Like to listen to them on snowy walks at night.
うたびこ
剃刀乙女
惑星のかぞえかた How to count planets
I mean the cover basically speaks for itself
the last one makes me really sad about something and I don't even know what they're saying. It feels like lost nostalgia and broken-up memories.
what i said about christmas trees

correctomundo
this always gave me a winter vibe
There was once this really haunting version of Carol of the Bells which I loved but can't seem to find again.
Was going to post this itt
I've been trying to find a version of Carol the Bells that made it my favorite Christmas song, but I have yet to find it after hours of searching.
>I've been trying to find a version of Carol the Bells that made it my favorite Christmas song, but I have yet to find it after hours of searching.
I swear it used to be on youtube and it was by Lux Aeterna. There was a picture of a spoopy angel of death lookin dude
Are you sure you're not just confusing that with the theme from Requiem for a Dream? It's called Lux Aeterna youtu.be
It's really shitty but I only know four of their albums, yet those four i listen to constantly. Not the guy you're replying to btw
Alligator>Boxer>>>Trouble>High Violet
Nah I'm positive it was a Carol of the Bells remix. Even had the "ding fries are done" rhythm, with bells and chanting. Almost sounded like something you'd hear in a Harry Potter movie
Those digits. I'm going to listen to this.
this
Underrated, and the feelsiest music video you'll see this holiday season
This is a nice winter-y album
Just listened to this the other day while taking out some bottles and going for a walk, worked perfectly
I always listen to Sons of Northern Darkness during the first snowfall of each year
Dammit, I was gonna make that joke
