It's really not that great.
this. also Frank ost with fassbender's vocals
the soundtrack for blade runner was so fucking lit
The original, yeah. Not this half-arsed attempt.
Genuinely this.
this was really good
especially the Sex Bob-Omb tracks
>BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>BOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMBWAHHHHHHHBWAHBWAH
>EYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
It worked well for the movie and it was definitely an experience in theaters, but I don't know if I'd put it up as one of the best. I'll take a listen again but that's all I remembered from my first experience with the film.
Hans Zimmer is a legend
so is the boy who cried wolf
it was what got me into canadian indie
So 90s it stinks
I always remember the password scene
I dont know if its bad but i never got the impression that the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack was anything special
It was ridiculously overwhelming in the film.

i loved br 2049 as much as the next guy, but nothing will ever touch vangelis' masterpiece
The film itself was fantastic but the soundtrack was a disappointment imho. The moody synth pad-y bits were clearly trying to channel Vangelis but then it quickly devolved into typical Zimmer BRRAAAAP-core.

mah nigga, i even have this on vinyl, its fucking fantastic, i honestly have never found a band that really emulates the sex bob-omb sound that accurately
inb4 just listen to beck hurr durr
good choice
Prolly the best of all time
Repo Man and The Warriors, patrician soundtracks
T. nostalgia kiddie
Also this movie and its score are really good (even though musically it's just like everything Carpenter did), but I can't stand the different pieces of artwork used that are blatantly wrong and copies of older movies' artwork. This is a pretty obvious ripoff of Rosemary's Baby and it's not even a thematically similar movie in any way. I don't know if the director was responsible for that, but if he is I respect him less. Same goes for that awful '80s nostalgia DVD cover that makes it look like Sleepaway Camp even though it is nothing like that movie.

The blade runner soundtrack is just one big nostalgia fest.
Maybe if Jóhann Jóhannsson wouldn’t have been replaced by Hack Zimmer then the soundtrack would have been more original.
Or if they would have hired Daniel Lopatin/Oneothrix for it.
listen to mesa. that's really the only notable one other than tears in rain. also sea wall.
this film fucked me up
As well as this.

TRON LEGACY
A bit off-topic, but I played through Braid recently and absolutely loved it's soundtrack.
Can anyone recommend something similar I might like? Not necessarily soundtracks.
itt retarded excuses to post my reddit garbage flick on other boards

>tfw the same guy did the mgs soundtrack
LOTR
Oh really? Because it gets rid of the jazz and the ethereal pads in place of wall-of-sound synth sounds and aggressive wailing. It almost sounds like you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
