DUDE JUST LET EM IN LMAO

Wish I had my face in a bubble on a picture of a boat 2bh

why do people like this shit

>rich people on yachts saying to let mudslimes in
There should be a ban on rich people voting

She's hot tbqh.

>libshits actually believe we can stop the processes of Mother Nature and inevitable climate changes that occur no matter what humans do

wew lad

the best we can do is fighting polution, keep out water and mountains clean, that's about it, everything else is a scam

>champagne socialists

At least Russell Brand has learnt somewhat to stop being so preachy

>Mr Goldberg I NEED that oscar why have i been shunned in the past

>Refugees! Feminism! Trannies! Too many White Men! Cuckoldry! Take your pick!
>Jesus Christ, there has to be something else.
>Well there's climate change, but you would look like a complete schlameel with your extravagant habits!
>You got yourself a deal, climate change it is. Get me on the next flight to Canada, Saudi Arabia is too scary.

This time last year it was 70 degrees and thunderstorming like crazy. This year it's back to being cold. Did we beat climate change?

hey u guys like memes? :DD

depends where you live. in the north west UK we get the shit end of the gulf stream and weather is unpredictable all the fucking time. It should snow here but it rarely ever does, just rains all the time. Same in summer, we should get alot of sun but no, its fucking rain again.

Did we save the planet?

How is renewable energy a scam?

maybe the same way zero carbon is a scam?

It isn't. The environmentalist shylocks who are monumentally unqualified to contribute to renewable energy, who skim and tax everything oil related in first world countries, are a bullshit racket.

It a load of bullshit and fairy tales they want to tax me for.
Total scam when we have lots of coal waiting to be burned

Hello my close friend here is some tax money please do plenty of great work to cut into the profits of my other friends over in the fossil fuels industry ;)

Try conservative scientists you moronic piece of shit. Most of NASA and most science related institutions are comprised of people that vote republican. But not the inbred types (You) that yell at the top of their lungs "cucks, liberals, jews!"

Well, for instance, a solar panel will never generate more energy than it cost to manufacture it.

I work in the renewable energy industry. The amount of pollution caused in the production of PV modules is worse than the energy that they yield. Also there is a lot of waste in the world due to the manufacturing of all equipment such as the dumping of rubbish etc. Don't get me started on the manufacturing of lithium ion batteries used for solar systems. Great money tho

Its not. Retards here will cry otherwise about some non-existent hypothetical tax.

But reality is that only Nuclear can properly sustain us.

DUDE I POSTED IT AGAIN LMAO

Brilliant, he can house them. And while at it, he can chuck a couple million into a furnace for illegals.

DUDE BELIEVE ME LIKE I'M JUST AN ACTOR WITH NO FORMER SCIENTIFIC EDUCATION LMAO

>non-existent hypothetical tax

Come on son:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_tax

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Homemade solar panels out of aluminum cans and Styrofoam can even do that in a decade or so of use.

Why does Sup Forums think the Jews are behind climate change when it's barely even a profitable industry? Why do they think none of them are behind coal, oil and fossil fuels which is one of the biggest industries in the world and has been for the past century? What would they have to gain financially from a currently unviable industry? I see this all the time with other social and environmental issues, it's the Jews. I don't think Sup Forums even knows what a Jew is even by their own definition of them.

The funny thing is that liberals claim that we've done irreparable damage to the planet and are on a collision course for an environmental apocalypse (and have been for decades, yet it doesn't ever seem to happen). Third world countries are allowed to shit up the environment with no consequence besides eco guilt-tripping.

So naturally the logical thing to do is to spend these climate change tax dollars on protecting our cities against hurricanes, storms, droughts and flooding, which would cost far less than forcing the entire country to use "green" energy. But that's not what's on the agenda for some mysterious reason.

Also "green" energy is just as dirty (i.e. rare earth mining for solar and electric car batteries), environmentalists and globalists just like to meme that it's 100% clean. It's a total racket.

>Why do they think none of them are behind coal, oil and fossil fuels which is one of the biggest industries in the world and has been for the past century?
How naive. (((They))) are behind everything

>libshit doesn't mind more tax

wew lad, color me shocked

It's all about them average global temps brah. Your little climate doesn't mean much at all

>nuclear
>has never accounted for more than 5% global energy production
>already outperformed by solar/wind/hydro
>produces radioactive waste we don't know what to do with
>sometimes gets three-miled, fukishimaed, or chernobled

Yeeeeeah, k.

>nuclear
>outperformed by meme energy

No. Your blatant dishonesty is criminal.

Fusion is the way to go, senpai.

Rare earth mining is harmful once, but what do you do with that shit once it's mined? You use it in a clean electric battery, you don't burn it after one use to add to the carbon emissions, then have to go back and dig up more immediately after.

That's so stupid.

Trump is slowly making America great again by accelerating climate change and sinking Florida into the ocean.

Thanks God-Emperor. I fucking hate Miami and its people.

What kind of logic is that? Coal is harmful only once too.

You need to take into account what it would take to replace every gas guzzler car with an electric car. That's a lot of fucking rare earth. Electric car batteries have a huge carbon footprint, it's just not cool to bring it up when everyone's jerking off about how clean and green it is.

You're talking about a cheap solar heat exchanger, not a means by which to produce electricity.

>guys florida will sink into the ocean ANY day now
>guys the polar ice caps will completely melt ANY day now
>guys the entire world will be engulfed in mega hurricanes ANY day now

You faggots have been saying this shit for decades.

The basic idea is this ties into gun control as a means by which to create a new type of high tech (as compared to the dark ages) serfdom, in which only the mega-rich have any sort of defensive capacity or mobility.

Not to mention acting like its "DA JOOS" is a pure false flag tactic to make dissent look crazy.

Coal isn't harmful once, it's harmful twice - once when it's mined, once when it's burned.

If you transition over to clean energy, eventually the mining doesn't do any atmospheric damage, only local environmental damage. When you mine a fossil fuel WITH fossil fuel, you're doing worse.

The goal is to get all the fossil fuel swapped over to renewables so that we don't put any more carbon into the atmosphere. Really, if we don't come up with a way to take carbon out, we're fucked anyway.

>Carbon is destroying the environment
>I know, lets fix that by having a carbon tax!

>chlorofluorocarbons is destroying the Ozone layer
>I know, lets fix that by having a chlorofluorocarbons tax!

Who the fuck said it would happen overnight? Get off your own confirmation bias.

If he wanted to make America great again he would sink California first.

are you retarded

>IT'LL HAPPEN TRUST ME, JUST GIVE ME MORE TAX DOLLARS

Because hydroelectric dams are by far the most effective way of producing yuge wattage, dwarfs even nuclear power if the river is big enough.
>muh deforestation
>muh wildlife

Also biodiesel is looking promising
>muh carbon emissions

Photovolteic crap is meme, son

>man get life insurance you're gonna die
>better save for retirement you're gonna get old
>stop smoking or you're gonna get lung cancer

You faggots have been saying this shit for decades.

that's all wrong though. Total output of nuclear is only low because the low number of plants. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of ideas on what to do with nuclear waste. People just find arbitrary reasons to reject them.

It's funny, because engineers and scientists are mostly conservative because they don't want to support inbred retards like that guy.

nuclear is dirty as fuck. worse than coal in terms of pollution.

Hydrocarbons are always going to be useful as a means of energy transport. As the cost/weight/output ratio will always be better than batteries.

>Heat
You mean thermal energy?

bait/10, you know for a fact that's steam
here's your (You), let's hope other anons are smart enough not to give you any more

What? No it's not.

Many misconceptions in this post.
>are on a collision course for an environmental apocalypse (and have been for decades, yet it doesn't ever seem to happen).
We're still on the course. Just because you don't see major evidence yet doesn't mean that the models are incorrect, as it's a very incremental process.
>Third world countries are allowed to shit up the environment with no consequence besides eco guilt-tripping
As far as I understand, they don't make as big of a difference as the developed world. Regardless, any change will obviously have to start with developed countries, so it's clear why all focus would be on them.
>So naturally the logical thing to do is to spend these climate change tax dollars on protecting our cities against hurricanes, storms, droughts and flooding, which would cost far less than forcing the entire country to use "green" energy
Well, I think the reason here is pretty obvious. If you assume global warming is true, then you want to minimize its effects or stop them altogether so they don't cause as much damage in the future. According to the models, we aren't yet past the point where reduction strategies will be useful.
>Also "green" energy is just as dirty
This can be true but is not always true. Differing production methods can make it take longer for solar cells to pay for themselves, but they eventually do and, regardless, if the world was more behind this whole thing, fewer cells would have to be manufactured in china where they use less efficient production methods.

>What is nuclear waste/Chernobyl/Three Mile Island etc
Yes let's just dump that in all in the ground, shall we?

>nuclear-smog
>not realising it's literally water vapor
Have a pity (You), life must be tough with 60 IQ

negro that's fucking steam.

Hell, if you started using ocean water as coolant, you could basically solve all fresh water problems as well.

>Third world countries are allowed to shit up the environment with no consequence
real? your excuse for doing something harmful is "well niggers in Africa get away with it so why can't I?

not a surprise America hasn't been a leader in innovation in decades

>really cold this summer
DUDE ITS CLIMATE CHANGE LMAO
>really warm this winter
DUDE ITS CLIMATE CHANGE AGAIN LMAO

(You) posted an image of steam named "nuclear-smog"

>niggers in Africa

Its more like "slants in china"

What is supply and demand hurrdurrr
If everything uses it up then you will run out and have millions of antiquated devices which need fuel

>As far as I understand, they don't make as big of a difference as the developed world.
You'd be surprised. China was able to slingshot itself into a monster economy by not giving a shit. And they still don't give a shit about the environment.

>According to the models, we aren't yet past the point where reduction strategies will be useful.
But if third world countries are not going to be forced into going green, then we have to assume that we're going to go past the point. The Paris agreement is full of incentives only, no actual enforcement. Vietnam won't give a shit about some faggy agreement when there's profit to be made.

we've had 12 straight months of record highs nigger. Try looking at the data instead of greentexting strawman arguments

Hopefully for your sake it's bait
Nuclear fueled electricity generation should have been common practise decades ago. Would solve loads of energy and environmental issues we have today.

Inb4 muh waste, you can recycle that shit to produce more energy or just burry it

Can't, gotta use heavy water only, cause it doubles as radiation shielding

The water vapor produced by nuclear reactions is not radioactive.

The nuclear waste you're talking about is minuscule amounts of spent fuel.

China is a first world country.

>muh China
China just ratified the Paris climate accord ahead of the meeting. If Trump ends up pulling out of it like he plans, the US will be sub-3rd world in its climate change policy
theguardian.com/world/2016/sep/03/china-ratifies-paris-climate-change-agreement

>record highs
KEK

>If everything uses it up
hydrocarbons are renewable and there's still literal oceans of oil in the ground. People just get upset when the stuff doesn't just shoot out of the ground of it's own volition.

It's not a question of morals, dingus.

If China shits up the atmosphere and we all sit back and watch it happen, we all still die (according to your "models"). Climate change fags need to actually enforce their policies if they want to be taken seriously.

Redpill me on fusion.
Is it going to solve the energy crisis in our lifetime or just Sci-fi?

Who is it?

climate change fags need a module that actually comes true

As would the molten salt.

Oh yes, the honorable and trustworthy Chinese.

They wouldn't lie about their numbers, no sir! The Chinese are ethical paragons!

it's not necessary, there are plenty of designs out there that don't use heavy water, but there's tradeoffs and it's usually easier to just go with the ones that do

Honestly the thing that's holding back nuclear is that for most of the 20th century the only reason it was heavily promoted was so cold war governments could use the plutonium byproducts for nuclear weapons. There's a lot of other reactors that don't use uranium and can be cheaper/cleaner/more efficient, but their decades behind in development

Why don't you just say "spoonfeed?" Its what you mean.

JUST LIKE US NOBLE AMERICANS BROTHER!

>But if third world countries are not going to be forced into going green, then we have to assume that we're going to go past the point.
I don't think that everyone is so cynical yet. Maybe in another 20 years after nothing has changed with respect to the developed countries, this will become a more popular outlook.

Both senpai.
It actually works.
yahoo.com/news/wendelstein-7-x-nuclear-fusion-093233098.html
popularmechanics.com/science/energy/a24172/fusion-reactor-working/

Who the fuck said I posted that, you god damn moron?

Well, decades behind nuclear is still better in every way than any "green" load of shit.

China already signed the Paris climate accords which is more than the US has done (assuming Trump is serious about his policy)

>shifting the goalposts this much
you can easily measure this shit with satellites you know. Even China isn't dumb enough to lie this blatantly on the global scale, they save that for poisoning their citizens because they can get away with it

just photoshop yourself there ma man

>the US will be sub-3rd world in its climate change policy
You say that as if it's bad.

It's failed to generate more power than power required to keep it running after decades of research

>Is it going to solve the energy crisis
If your country has rivers, you don't have an energy crisis. If your country can afford to build 10 nuclear reactors and produce fuel for em, you don't have an energy crisis. If your country can't afford nuclear reactors or dams, your country sure as fuck cant afford a fusion reactor (which doesn't even produce any excess power btw).

CHING CHANG PONG WE ARR CLEANER THAN DIRTY AMERICANS!

AMERICA RESPONSIBLE FOR GLOBAL WARMING! NOT CHINA! REE!

So how long until people realize no entity on the planet is set up to think further ahead than 10 years? And the most powerful can only think in terms of months at most?

And this is why it is colloquially called "the jews" behind this.

>actually qualified geniuses come up with a tangible solution
>oy veyyyyy it's anuddah shoah!
>scientifically useless environmentalist cretins go back to collecting cash off of current model

You are both shit. China and America need to be nuked.

This here, the UN wants to level a global tax based on this bullshit to pave the way for a one world government.

The paris climate accords are all about per-capita.

Most of china doesn't even have roads.

maybe, but a lot of green energy is phenomenally efficient and cheaper than most people give it credit for. some Canadian provinces run at 90+% electricity from renewables because of hydro, and solar and wind beats hydrocarbons in a lot of climates even without muh government incentives
