How come most, if not all men that make it in professional sports, especially soccer, are somewhat good looking or at least above average?
Show me some legit ugly football players. Ribery and Rooney are the only ones I can think of right now and even those aren't that repulsive to look at. 3/10s maybe.

I imagine there's some truth to this, I read an article some years ago about how most NFL quarterbacks are handsome as a result of them naturally being promoted to leadership roles among their peers.

Genetics are generally a package deal. I know it's an unpleasant thought and an unfair world but in general beauty, intelligence and strength/fitness all correlate somewhat.
