It's a great trilogy, but 1 is the weakest. It's shorter than the others, and it's just not as strong overall.

RTJ2 has objectively the biggest bangers but each to his own

RTJ2 does have the biggest bangers, but it also has Love Again which I hate(at least the female vocal part), plus RTJ3 has Thursday in the Danger Room which is my favorite song from the trilogy. RTJ2 has Zach dela Rocha feature which I love, but RTJ3 has Danny Brown feature which I also love. It's really hard to choose between RTJ2 and 3, but since 3 doesn't have any tracks that I DISLIKE, I'd go with 3 by just a hair.

RTJ3 felt more like they were saying 'we're fucking woke and gonna make a lot of our songs relevant to the political atmosphere.'

and RTJ1 was saying 'we don't give a fuck, lets just make good music'
