^ this one takes the cake. He blames his coalition partner, PVDA (Labour) for the referendum and its results while infact, it was an independent organisation (GeenPeil) that instigated it.
The difference between the Brexit referendum and the Ukraine-EU treaty one is that the former is bound and the latter one was unbound (Advisory). If the Brits vote out, they will go out or the Parliment will have to break democracy to force the UK to stay in the Union.

It's rampant but they hide it with all sorts of semi-political organizations here. Basically they support politicians / their parties and then once they get elected the kickbacks to said organizations begin. And the system just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Every crisis is an opportunity to fund your own groups more. That's why the state is humongous in Nordic countries even though the public services have been getting cut for like three decades.
