inb4 Sneed's Feed & Seed
>let's repeat the same lines from seasons 3-7 again!
...
...
>SUPER NINTENDO CHALMERS
never understood this one
What's the joke? I don't get it.
change feed and seed to rhyme with chuck
Fuck you, season 10 had good jokes too.
...
But why
Chuck's frucks and shucks?
but not 10/10
do you feel me, bro?

>please sign these papers indicating that you did not save itchy and scratchy
First 11/10 episode in the jokes department, and I say that as a non American that sees Softball/Baseball the same way the Simpsons claimed America sees Soccer at the time.
I'm not sure I understand what's supposed to be funny
i could go for a steamed ham right about now
It's okay, I guess, if you're into baseball. That Burns/Sideburns joke doesn't register for me.
...
best episode
Amen brother.
Nothing beats watching the Aurora Borealis while eating some steamed hams.
>one writer wrote that scene himself
>nobody had any changes or additions
>it went into the show as it was on the page
that man was Bill Oakley. or Josh Weinstein, I can't remember, either or
>That Burns/Sideburns joke doesn't register for me.
What exactly is it you don't get?
there's no r in chuck
Chucks's fhuck and chuck?
...
every
time
we know you know it
but we have to practice our explaining skills as if you have autism that makes you unable to see it's a quick poor joke that falls apart if you scrutinize it
>It's okay, I guess, if you're into baseball.
But that's the thing, I'm not.
chucks fuck and suck
I don't get it
Why and what's funny about it?
That's kind of lewd. Are you sure they would do that on the Simpsons?
SkinNERRRR
you autistic fuck
yes. it is meant to be subtle.
Nah, that would never get past the censors.
Literally saying suck and fuck isn't very subtle
Feeduck and Seeduck?
*Feedcuck and Seedcuck
You have a little baby brain
Thats why they don't say it directly. Its a hidden gag for observant viewers who enjoy lewd humour, that we are painfully deconstructing 20 years later.
Sneed, feed and seed all rhyme so you'd think that Sneed opened the store and named it but it turns out that some guy call Chuck owned it before him.
Exact same joke if it was formerly Clark's or Luanne's.
I guess that's subtle also..?
This guy gets it.
aurora borealis?
>tfw when you realize that, if they'd aged chronologically, both Lisa and Bart would be older than you.
Bart would be Homers age
...
This is one of my favorite episodes.
>It's German for "The Bart, The"
In hindsight its easy to say, but should the writers have aged them with continuity? I think the show would work better today if Homer and Marge were older, Bart is married with kids and basically turned into Homer circa 1990, while Lisa is an unmarried mid 30's feminist single-mother raising Nelsons son (Nelson is out for a packet of smokes).
>There's an air in space museum!
is from season 12.
Later seasons even up to now have plenty of great jokes. I't just that the episodes as a whole tend to be shit.
There's this one time homer tried to watch baseball sober, and found out it was fucking boring
If it was formerly Chuck's, then it was only called Chuck's, nothing else
Dumb, but they should have aged them slowly. Bart should be a teenager by now.
this, I don't understand the joke
Must be a store in Albany.
One of my all time favorites.

>Bart: Hello family.
>Marge:Where have you been young man? It's nearly bed time.
>Bart: I was... I was...
>Thought bubble appears over Bart's head of Sideshow Bob hypnotizing him
>Sideshow Bob: If anyone asks... you were at the flower shop.
>Bart: I was at the flower shop.
>Homer: Oh yea, uhhh uhh. I was at the flower shop too.
>Homer:... Yep, getting drunk at the ol' flower shop.
>Marge: *Grumbles*
Those episodes that take place in the future are pretty solid so maybe you're on to something.
There is none, dumbfucks use mental gymnastics to make up a joke that isn't there
So where's the joke, where's the funny? It's meant to only be Chuck's
Star Wars prequel bit had me floored when it aired.
There is, you're just retarded.
In your adhd head there might be
>BUENOS NOCHES MEIN FUHRER
No, the joke is in the show.
dont be so obtuse. its just background wordplay
No, if it was formerly Chuck's, then it was only Chuck's, or Chuck's feed and seed
Yes it *was* Chucks feed and seed, but that's not the JOKE. The viewer is meant to see something that the "fictional sign creator" didn't consider people might think. Dumbass.
A joke has to be funny
man that's funny
That's absolutely not true. A joke only needs the intent to be humorous.
So you find it humorous when people say fuck and suck?
Bart: "You throw like my sister!"
Lisa: "Yeah, you throw like me!"
this is the best episode
THEY DON'T SAY SUCK OR FUCK
>THEY IMPLY IT
Dis aint ovah

The Simpson's was never funny or clever?
What I love about the early seasons is how thought out Homer's lacking intellectual capabilities are. This is exactly how a child or someone of a child like mind would fantasize about what winning the Lottery would enable them to do, with no real concept of the limits of what those capable gains could bring them holding it back. Everything from the 14 karat being his gold standard to how childlike Burns sounds when he's hailing him is on point. It's as if the writers asked actual 4-6 year olds what they'd do with their lottery winnings and worked from that.
>capable
*capital
Not me, youngun!
upward inflection?
chuck's feed and seed?
Chucks pucks and trucks?
Chucks lucks and bucks?
i dont get it
BACK THE FUCK OFF!?
familly guy has ruined this kind of humor
why is he eating his lunch in the chiefs office?
He brought it in with him?
that cutaway is probably my favourite of all time
hes hungry?
no break room
He brings it with him whenever hes talking with his boss, just so he can use it to avoid conversations he doesn't like.
That's actually pretty good.
