ITT: Unpopular Opinions

Pablo Honey is a really solid "coming of age" album, majority of its songs are underrated, and the only bad track is "Thinking About You"

Radiohead themselves have expressed their hatred of this album. also, neutral milk hotel is overrated

Losing My Religion is the best song of the 90's

U2 is actually a great band.

you is great tho.

ur so kind

Radiohead sucks

you're in the wrong area to be saying shit like that

Blow Out is the only good song.

u came into da wrong hood white boii

you are wrong and mad dumb and mad gay and mad stupid

Ur a creep XD

twerk dt white ass on dis blag diggg

it's a b-side, but Yes I Am is the best song they made in the Pablo Honey era.

The Endless River is better than The Division Bell, and Louder Than Words is better than High Hopes

I tend to listen to this without a radiohead mindset. It's pretty good

Not unpopular.

I like green day's first 6-8 albums. green day is a fun band to listen to

racism is bad
you shouldn't use the n-word on a music forum
you shouldn't post nazi metal, RAC, neofolk, varg, or any other nazi shit
you shouldn't call other people "faggots" or other bigoted slurs on a music forum
you shouldn't post misogynistic things on threads about female musicians.
you should discuss the music of female musicians here, not discuss their bodies and/or your sexual fantasies that feature them
you should discuss their music instead of making transphobic shitposts in threads about any trans musician
and if you disagree with me on any of these you should kill yourself but failing that just go back to pol or something

I agree with all of these unironically

...

epic post

Well, both are absolute shit so that's not too far-fetched.

Super Furry Animals were the best band of the 90s

>racism is bad
yeah i agree
>you shouldn't use the n-word on a music forum
okay never mind i'm a nazi now

the only reason they actually achieved this level of success was bc they went on hiatus immediately after IAAOTS

mmmmmmm idk bout this

this is true but i'm not actually gonna stick to any of these rules

The fuck ia this? Kindergarten rules?

TKOL best radiohead

Disintegration is a weak album especially compared to Pornography

Power Metal is the most underrated metal genre.

animals is the best floyd record

My Chemical Romance was he only mainstream rock of the mid to late 2000s that will have any lasting impact

this desu

no, that would be glam metal

power metal has a very enduring fanbase

I mean pretty much, most of influential music of that time was underground.

generally speaking, some basic rules of decorum on a forum help foster mature and sophisticated discussion. whereas more anarchic forums (even Sup Forums and Sup Forums have some rules) tend to be full of shitposting and devoid of any meaningful discussion. This is why university debates have a much higher level of discussion of say politics and philosophy than Sup Forums. Or why good music guide and talkclassical have much more insightful discussion than here.

kindergarten is where there are no rules, mature discussion is where there are rules.

suck my dick faggot

Oasis really is just stale generic trash

this is unpopular?

No idea but it's true

>the state of this board

I think that Abbey Road is an absolute masterpiece when it comes to The Beatles. It's fantastic from front to end. 100% quality. That being said, I find the rest of their other five highly lauded releases to be very lackluster and inconsistent. The only fire tracks from Rubber Soul till White Album are imo:
-Norwegian Wood
-Eleanor Rigby
-Here, There, Everywhere
-Tomorrow Never Knows
-Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
-Within You, Without You
-A Day In Life
-Strawberry Fields Forever
-While My Guitar Gently Weeps
-Revolution 9

The rest in those albums is just totally on the other end to me of being ridiculously boring. In fact, the older I get the more annoyed I am at how even the "classic" albums of any particular artist or genre often tend to not be very consistent the vast majority of the time.

Did your caretaker drop you while she was helping you up a staircase

The lyrics on Louder than Words make me cringe every time. At least High Hopes tries to relive the Waters era.

Blur's 13 is legitimately underrated, one of the best albums of the 90's I'd even wager

isn't this just copypasted rules from the RYM forums?

Slipknot is a good band
