If one was to go through the first 20 years of their lives only able to listen to albums from Zappa's catalogue they would be exposed to just as much (if not more) musical diversity as the average person in society. Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Country, R&B, Classical, Prog and Pop music.
