Can we figure out the styling first? There's been some decently fast cars produced in the US but they always look like track toys, there's nothing like Alfa Romeo or Ferrari or Aston Martin or Jaguar that both looks classy and performs well. 1. Fuel isn't as cheap in Europe as it is in the USA, thus running costs are huge on anything more than a diesel fartbox.

2. Roads in Western Europe aren't conductive to cruising as they would be in the wide open spaces of America.

3. European governments tax the shit out of high capacity engines.

4. Performance cars are relegated to the upper classes in Europe. It isn't a middle class thing to buy a V8 coupe new.

5. Build quallity of American cars in the past has been suspect.
