Legit can't watch this show because Hyacinth reminds me too much of my grandma. inb4 britbong
fuck off child
Im the same but it doesn't bother me to watch
>Hyacinth reminds me too much of my grandma.
She reminds me of far too many British guys on Sup Forums.
why cant it be both
>it's a Hyacinth has a mental breakdown after learning that her husband voted for Nigel Farage episode
>implying Hyacinth wouldn't vote UKIP to drive the smelly low class immigrants out
>it's a Hyacinth discovers that a group have Syrian refugees have moved in down the street and that they haven't been putting their bins out every other Tuesday episode
>it's a Hyacinth fakes a hate crime and tries to blame Onslow episode
>it's a Richard gets accused of being a member of ISIS after taking a trip to Nice and somebody cuts the brakes on his car episode
Mind the pedestrians Richard
This show is fucking incredible you wigwam, I bet you've never even been invited to a candlelight supper.
Did she ever come to terms with Sheridan being gay?
>candlelight supper.
I don't recall if we ever got to saw one of these famous candlelight suppers during the show.
Spot on!
I think she was naively oblivious and thought he was the prefect son, his love of making his own curtains and silk pajamas was incompatible with him being a "confirmed bachelor".
Millennial faggot
>tfw the BBC have been repeating Just Good Friends
Jan Francis is lovely.
We almost saw her indoor-outdoor dinner, and her waterside picnic with riparian entertainment
Can't remember one at least.
>and her waterside picnic with riparian entertainment
I think this might've been the first episode I ever saw.
>its a Richard daydreams about strangling Hyacint episode
...
shut ure maowf
its from a simpler time when shows were not ADHD Americanized and it was ok to talk abou the class divide
WATCH IT RICHARD
Topkek
Yes! I've caught a few episodes, she is lovely
WATCH IT VICAR
WATCH IT MAJOR
WATCH IT ROSE
(((Americanized)))
>Bouquet
>>Bouquet
>>>Bouquet
It's "Bucket". You're missing the central joke.
>It's "Bucket".
The only way Bucket could be pronounced the way she wants it pronounced is if her family had continental influences, and I KNOW she disapproves of continental influences.
What a dilemma.
WATCH IT ONSLOW
Oh nice!
PUT A FUCKING SHIRT ON YOU SCRUFFY CUNT
tfw your waterside supper with riparian entertainment is ruined
Because a comedy that successfully satirises an entire class of people isn't a terrible comedy.
...
...
...
Watch it, Hyacinth.
Hand-painted periwinkles motherfuckers
...
This is objectively untrue.
RIP in peace
So would you a Rose?
Yes.
...
She's kind of cute desu
After everyone else has had their turn? No thanks
...
>Ugh, Is this Bucket speaking?
Daily reminder that this happened
youtube.com
>Hyacinth
>Rose
>Daisy
All named after flowers hence the "Bouquet" meaning.
>Unfortunately Hyacinth married Richard BUCKET.
That passes for early 90's humour in the UK. And it's fucking marvellous.
>"Why do they always have wogs on the telly now?"
it was a different time...
It was one of those shows that went on for far too long, like 'Allo 'Allo or Last of the Summer Wine. They are gentle and humorous shows, but if you've seen one, you seen them all. I suppose it would appeal to the sort of people who like SoL in Sup Forums, not much in terms of plot or action, but entertaining enough to have on in the background on a peaceful Sunday afternoon
This has potential.
Nah doesn't really fit Onslow's character. I doubt he cared about ethnics too much.
Yes, because there was so much genocide avocation in Raimi's spiderman.
> complains about Americanisation
> uses a 'z' in the middle of Americanisation
I loved that family so much.
Made me feel comfy that British lower class people are pretty much the same as Murrican lower class people
