There has been so much mixing over the past several thousand years that they probably didn't look exactly like any modern group but they were probably similar to Levantines.
The Sudanese/Ethiopians that came towards the end of its golden age probably didn't even look much like the bantus we see today. Even modern Ethiopians and Somalis look nothing like US niggers who love to claim the throne.
