Will tv ever be great again? I mean, even watching these shows again gives me a bittersweet feeling.

2/4 of those shows are shit

o boy
i fucking hope not, let's get some of those tv-writers making movies so we can address the capeshit epidemic

The Leftovers is that tier

Which, and why?

these are the big 4
I don't care if you chuds call it plebcore, these are the best

Breaking Bad isn't terrible or anything, but it's literally nowhere near the level of the other 3.

Is sopranos even good
I'm thinking about watching it but I'm not sure
Same thing with the wire

BB, & Made Men.
It's obvious

...

>Putting Mad Men and Breaking Bad on the same level as The Wire and The Sopranos

That's real retarded sir

>I don't like things that other people like because I'm better than other people

The Wire is actually good. The Sopranos is meh.

Dumb diagram designed by lolbertarians.

Orthogonal to "economic left vs economic right" should be "cultural liberal vs cultural conservative".

In actuality, "libertarians" aspire to a sort of neutrality in either the culture war or the class war.

The young pope was better than all of these, maybe not the sopranos but it's a close call.

>Mad Men is shit

tv is just too much grimdark everywhere. no fun allowed.

A big part of these shows being considered potential GOATS (outside of BB) is their longevity. Shit like BWE, TD and Community had good first seasons but quickly went down hill.

Not saying Young Pope will (I actually love it) but you gotta give it at least 3 seasons before it reaches these heights

The wire was shit too imho

>this pic made me remember mad men has been off the air for over a year now

god bros I miss it so much. /SCDP/ was pinnacle Sup Forums

I could barely finish the Wire season 1. It felt so fucking generic. I dropped it like 6 episodes into season 2.

I kind of want to go back to see if it gets better, but I just remember it being so boring and I don't want to have to rewatch those first 6 episodes.

Try again after your acne clears up and you grow some chest hair.

You can't even compare them until they have 4 seasons behind their belt.

"classical" liberal would work but liberal has been co-opted by pseudo-socialists

True order:

1- Mad Men
2- The Sopranos
3- The Wire
4- True Detective (season 1)
5- Arrested Development
6- Deadwood

.
.
.
.
.

88- Friends
89- Breaking bad

Leftovers is just Lost 2.0 being mysterious for the sake of being mysterious while not actually going anywhere.

>he's never seen The Americans

The young pope and the leftovers btfo out of your gay reddit list. You don't even have The Shield in your image, because you're a faggot normie that has no taste

>a typical retard normie opinion

Holy fuck, just end yourself or stay on imdb

1. Soprano's
2. the Wire
...
10. Meme Men
